Pinoy 0 Posted June 16, 2009 Zune Software tells me that in my collection all my artists are there, but when I sync to my Zune, I get songs that are still in "Unknown Artist"My artist and album artists fields match for every song I have.I've also used Microsoft's Collection Reset Tool.I've googled for about 2 hours on this now, and no luck.I thought maybe someone here had a fix for this? I've had this problem before too.If that doesn't work, you could always use zAlternator.http://www.zuneboards.com/index.php?p=vB39810
Pinoy 0 Posted June 16, 2009 I tried that, like I already stated.I used Mp3tag and made sure everything matched.

That stupid thing screwed me up more than once.Yeah, I filled in "Artist" and "Album Artist" with the same things. The Zune reads it as "Unknown" but the Software doesn't.The funny thing is when I play one of the songs, the Artist comes up.Maybe it's because I don't have anything filled in for the album name? It might be glitching the way the firmware reads the tags. But that's just a guess.

Guest some fag Posted June 17, 2009 I've had similar problems... I just deleted it from my Zune Library, though, named it properly in Windows Media Player, and then put it back into Zune, and that usually fixed the problem.
