Those are .ru sites they're linking too. I'm willing to bet it's probably Conficker spam; we started having it happen around the same time Conficker C started to rear its ugly head.

I guess someone can ban him on the forums for impersinating a administrative

power on the forums.

i've been getting these for weeks. i sent oreo a message thinking it was just a bot but, i guess nothing was done about it.

He has more than just that one account. So far I have blocked:

jurdreda, muzrinkl and mignulikz.

don't click the links, especially if it ends in .ru , you know it's trouble then.

The lack of reading that goes on before people post is amazing.

An update: The first two came from the same IP, and judreda came from another IP in the same range. Both IPs have been banned; I'm sure you guys are starting to get it now, but don't click links from people you don't know. I'm gonna suggest to Oreo that we try and find a script to install in the forums so we can block PMs for users with under X posts.

To elaborate on this for Velocity and any other user unsure about this:

The latest update for Xfire has added something. Go in to your Xfire Options, click on the Chat tab and make sure that "Enable Xfire in-game" is checked.

When you open your game press ScrLk + E to open the options and UNCHECK the FPS and Clock Overlays.

I figured that out with about 10 minutes of playing around.
