I understand that this may never be changed and I would appreciate this thread not being locked. I wrote this post out when fatboy and space cowboy were debating in the complaint department.

I would really like to know why the rule is in, and what others think about

Personally I'm sure you guys know I have a high fucking level ghoul

I race whore in every definition of it, if people ask me to get off it I do though

This is the ONLY server I have seen a race whoring rule effect in and personally its dumb

Its beyond dumb

I voiced my opinion when I first joined the server but I've just been following the rules

If someone is raping with a race, either

A - They are a good player, you can't change that

B - They are on an overpowered race, you can change that

C - They know how to use a race well, you can't change that

Beyond team stacking which is usually easily fixed with admins on(Also stupid how the servers don't have an auto team balancer, there are some AWFUL one's but there are a few good one's out there)

You can't change A and C, but you can change B

If someone is raping on Dracula hardcore it needs to be nerfed

Dracula AND ghoul need to be nerfed, I know wtf JDDZip is saying ghoul needs to be nerfed? The leech is far too overpowered on both of these races

The problem is race whoring is a lazy man's way to not balance teams(either by admin or auto team balancer) or not fix overpowered races

I would really like to hear other people's thoughts on it, I know that #2 has a lot of shit races and a lot of good ones and it needs to be fixed but it just seems like this is a lazy way out.

People should be able to play any race they want to, some people enjoy leveling all their races, some people enjoy playing on a select few

i do agree with you jdd for some of the things. but i dont think that ghoul and dracula should be nerfed because the great life steal is the key ability for those races. if it was nerfed then they wouldnt be as much fun to play.

i have a level 78 dracula and yes i do whore it but i dont always have 4-1 kd ratio. most of the time i dont. but if somebody else on my team wants to play dracula then ill switch off it and let them. or if my team is doing really good and were winning 16-2 then ill ask an admin to switch my teams and ill stay on dracula (unless the other team has one then i'd switch) and ill help the other team win.

point is race whoring is always going to be a problem and sometimes people are just really good or have there preferences on what skills they like to have.

i think you make a good point in adding an auto team balance onto the server which would help to keep teams even.

I think as long as your 4-1 your fine. Unless some1 asks you to get off. Space is a good example though because no matter what race he plays hes 10-1...i guess people just need to suck less when he plays

WCS is not fun when you get completely raped every time. The server is not about being "pwntastic", it's about having a good time. When somebody goes 50-5, that takes away the fun for the entire server.

when people race whore, and i'm on. half the server tells me to kick the player, or do something about it, or make him change, or whatever.

we all know that at LEAST 2-3 ppl are unhappy when a person race whores.. correct? well how many are HAPPY when a person race whores?

i'm a good player and i can hold my own against space cowboy or cassboys or asmus or whoever u want to throw in there. but i dont JUMP FOR JOY when i see ol' cassboys on his 68 crypt lord 60-5... no one is happy when someone is race whoring , no one comes on the server waiting for someone to race whore so they can start having fun.

also im getting tired of you people complimenting space cowboy and cassboys. i think noire is a great guy, and cass makes me laugh .. but seriously have u seen these people on the 'not so good' races .. when actual good players are on? put space on grayman or any of the l4d races. put cass on mountain king or elemental sorcerer (which is actually a fun race).. they might have decent scores , but no where near race whoring scores.

bottom line- this server, as oreo said, is for the community to have fun. not 3-4 people who find them selves cool cause they can get godlike scores in wcs servers using the same race over and over and over.

..so u gotta ask yourselves, please half a server filled with people? or the 1 guy who wants to rank up in the server. no contest.

P.S. one last thing . who are the people who are for race whoring? JDDZIP.. 12x Ghoul .lol and neverendingsin a 78 dracula. and whaddya know, ppl complain both are overpowered. just something i found funny.

Too right. If I ever tell space to change race all he says is "oh but I've maxed all races". Just because you've maxed all races doesn't give you a right to race whore and this goes for everyone. Sure you have your favourite race but people shouldn't be playing that 30 rounds in a row. If I could see space play a placeholder race and still keep his 5:1+ ratios then I say there's not much we can do but he rotates 3 overpowered races which is purely pathetic. Just my opinion but I think space should take a lesson in manhood from vortex and reset his levels.

Space was normally the guy on at the same time as me so thats why I've developed my distaste towards him, but the fact is a -lot- of people on the server are as stubborn and selfish as him and just whore all day. Extremely boring.

Vortexx...let me see when forbidden wasnt private who was on it ALL the time even after they maxed it, ppl complained about you being on it, oh and at the same time you complained to me about playing maxed races though my other races are maxed even though you were ALWAYS on forbidden way past max.

Yiyas too, you complain about me being on max races and that I should reset all my levels and level up some races when you have a succubus hunter 65+ and i only see YOU on maxed races never levleing anything up. What OP races are you talking about? You guys never say anything about my score when im on Archmage Proudmore or Mage Of Xigtha or some other race people have claimed stupid. As soon as i switch off those crappy races because I have a 4-1 ratio, sometimes after a few switches Ill go to white mage or something and you guys start to bitch your head off about my total score even though I JUST SWITCHED to white mage you act as if Ive been on it the whole round. It's pretty easy to bitch about ANY race being OP if you just start to mic spam about a skill you think it powerful on the class.

There have been plenty of times i have gone 4-1 on witch or hunter class. Also the fact that you say i dont use those races when good players are on is just funny because what vortexx and yiyas want to whore their races, they want me to be on a race that has no skills or half of them broken so they can do better with their whorish races is just laughable to me. Maybe you two should let it go that I am not going to reset my races for you two. You two constanstly complain saying I should reset All my levels every time you are on the server and it is just plain annoying. Specially when ppl like Yiyas whore races 10x more than me. 50 levels past max, i dont think i have any races like that except maybe Abyss.

After rotating through several crappy races, am I not allowed to play some good ones like white mage? You guys act as if I should NEVER be allowed on those races. I mean just look how many levels past max it is, compared to my total level. I play a lot of other races as well. That seems a little unfair to me that you say I play the same races all the time, yet if that were true they would be WAY past max like JDD's Ghoul or Yiya's Succubus hunter. One of the reasons I'm never on grayman is also because someone is Usually on it, so I cant switch to it if it won't let me.

When have you seen me on a ratio above 4:1? If I approach it I switch my gun/tactics to balance out. If someone tells me to switch off succubus i go to archmage if someone tells me to get off that i play around on a knife race for a bit. I don't think theres been a time I've been officially racewhoring apart from when i was awping on port a month ago. For the life of me, I cannot recall anyone complaining about my "racewhoring"

Archmage, Succubus, Chameleon and Nomad are the fastest and most agile races in the server and I'm sure you, if you have been watching me, have noticed I like to play around practicing flying or longjumping or halplessly slashing knifes at people. They are my favourite races, and because of that I don't get up to a point where I can be said that I whore them.

I level races when you don't play. It's a lot easier and more fun that way. Succubus gets free $$$ and Archmage/Gargoyle/Nomad get free equipment. Chameleon is just the best race on the server. All are good for leveling my other races with 16k tomes when you're on.

Xithia and Archmage are great races. Xithia has huge invis and burns enemies. Archmage is just as fast as succubus and the earthquake is good for strafe and flyby kills. All the races on the first two pages are all excellent, or haven't you played them in the past year?

I have never seen you play witch or hunter.

When I played surf/rpg/dm I was the best there. I was miles ahead on rank and always top of the board. I was an admin there so it was my responsibilty to make things even, so I would reset my levels as soon as I maxed. I got to level 1500 six times. Even a reasonable clan member would do that to allow the community opportunities for fun and not just drop their dick on the face of any newcomer who enters the server.

Is the fact that theres a thread on this not say something to you?

1. yes i played forbidden. i enjoyed it, theres no race like it and it was fun to play.. but everytime i hit 4-1 .. i'd switch or ask people if they wanted me to switch, and then i did. so.. no arguement there.

Can we get some facts straight?

#1 - I would NEVER reset my 2000 fucking levels that I have spent... months? I bet space cowboy has been here for at least 6 months

#2 - Vortex correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't someone reset your levels? And your excuse was "Because your too good?" I'm curious if we can get the true story behind this because it doesn't sound like you messaged P2/Oreo on X-Fire and was like "Please reset my levels, I'm bored" if it was I apologize

#3 - Everyone complained about you playing Forbidden, and then people are like "LOL, VORTEX ISN'T ON ANYMORE BECAUSE FORBIDDEN IS PRIVATE. HAHAHAHA" - I actually laughed when I heard that

#4 - It's fucking hysterical to me that you guys are complaining about Space Cowboy? Are we talking about the same Space Cowboy I know? Space ALWAYS opted to switch teams to balance it up before he even had fucking admin! He would tell me to switch him before I even was thinking about it.

Its insane that you guys would accuse HIM of doing that, I mean I love Cass but I've seen him play on stacked teams and he doesn't care but Space? He ALWAYS tries to even it up.

#7 - The reason I asked, is not because I'm a whiny bitch. I've started actually leveling the races since I've been bored(Now i'm 600, lawl) and was wondering why this rule ever came into effect. I've played on 8-10 wcs servers as a regular and this is the first time I saw it. I assumed(Yes, assumed) that it was created because people didn't want to balance the races.

#8 - To be honest with you, I hope that they increase the experience you get when you kill a higher level player. This will stop all the race whoring crying business, I think it would be cool if someone killed me and got 1000-2000 xp because they would just be like "THERES JDDZIP! GET HIM!"

Why does it matter if Yiyas uses a mic or not? When have I ever said he spams on the mic? I have said he has told me countless times to reset my skills, never did I say it was over the mic. The point I'm making is, I switch when i get to 4-1 ratios and I switch to a completely different race (ghoul =/= dracula because they are both leeching races which I told you is what I do), and he complains about me using w/e race I'm on because it's max even when I dont have a 4-1 ratio. So if you can claim Im whoring without a 4-1 ratio, why is it your not whoring? Even Vortexx admits that I change when asked to. Most of the time when I go on White mage is when my ratio is below a 3-1. So its not like im using some race then switch to a powerful race as soon as I can. You guys have to also imagine how many races I do go through. Eventually I'm going to want to play races like white mage again. As I said, it sounds more like you guys just want me to stay off those races altogether, doesnt even sound like whoring is the issue. My Skill + those races = Too much for you guys to handle or something?

Also As I said you can comment on any skill and make any race sound overpowered. Its not about the single skills they get, its about the overall race together compared with other races used on the server.

So it's nice you bring up that you werent whoring yiyas because of your 4-1 ratio, but dont accuse me of whoring without a 4-1 ratio as well as you typically do in game.

It's also funny you bring up the grayman because I told you I didnt like it, but didnt I also change to it at the same time? How can you complain about that when I changed to grayman? It's like you will bring up the grayman just because its not level'd as if I am NEVER on it. I have been on it, its level 75 or something. That's not maxed, but its def a lot higher than the level 50 something i had 2 weeks ago.

To be honest, it just seems like you guys have EXTREMELY selective memory and only remember the times you can accuse me of whoring and none of the times in which I am play fair (or rather refuse to point out that I do play fair).

Since admin, I have switched teams around to where almost NO ONE gets a 4:1 ratio. Including myself. How am i thanked for this? Assholes likes these two who try to find a reason to complain because they are just miserable people to begin with. Honestly You guys need to relax and give up this personal vendetta you have towards me.

1. ok? i had my levels reset after months of playing too. and i had a 157 grayman. u know how freakin hard that is to get? fail #1

2. how u can bust out with accusations , is beyond me . but the real story is. a bunch of people were in game, a bunch of uv members, regulars, me, oreo. me and oreo were on the mics, and i had a good score.. they were like switch ur race, and i said my races are all maxed. we need to figure out a way to make this work. so oreo in a jokingly matter says "i'm gonna reset your levels, u want me to?" "i hesitated and said "wait wait lol i dont know i worked so hard" "he started counting to 5 also in a jokingly matter. and said, its now or never!!" "1... 2... 3.." "ahhh i can't decide .. SO MUCH WORK!!!" "4..." "FINE JUST DO IT ! i'll level them all again ! thug life!" "POOF" all levels gone , he laughed and left like 2 mins after. that my friend is what happened. so hush with your accusations

3. no relevance whatsoever. i always switched when i had 4-1 and ppl just didnt like that i was good with it.

Really i thought it was because forbidden went private - seems around the same time

Also ON a side Note I would like to state how I gave up playing human for the server because of the constant complaints. How many more racse do I have to give up before everyone is happy? Answer is there is no answer. As Long as People die they will always look for a reason beyond the fact that the person might be better than them, as to why they died. Oh look he's on a maxed race, that must be the reason.

Reminds me of something that happened today. I was testing Clockwork dragon, hearing no complaints. I finally save up enough skulls to have 175 hp. I start to hear all these people complain about how OP the race is (even though its more than 15 rounds from start and they just NOW bring it up). Funny they only started to mention it as soon as I started to kill ppl (barely had over 1:1 ratio). Then after they kept bitching forever i said, Fine I wont make this race public. I'll tell sandman its too op for public use. Funny how ppl changed their minds and started to say how only slight changes would make it more balanced (probably to save face from their op accusation seconds earlier and the fact that they want to play the race themselves). Truth is, its not that op at all. I have made changes to it and it was extremely underpowered before. Now that I feel its up to ranks with some of the nicer races on the server, i think it balanced enough to be a good addition to the server. Point is, people complain as long as they die and they ALWAYS look for a reason as to why without the consideration that maybe if they got better it wouldnt happen.
