Im sorry but if you believe you can read the emotions from a cop who never flashed his face once directly into a hi-resolution camera but instead was surrounded by other cops in a myriad of highly pixelated low resolution videos and a situation you were never in and have no idea what went on, then you quite frankly are pretty stupid.

Im still gonna reserve judgment on this until a complete investigation is done.

I beg to differ. Perhaps its because I'm in a smaller town, but I happen to know most of the cops in our town and they're all really nice people. Sure we swore at them as teenagers cause it seemed they did nothing but pull us over, but then again we are a small town so cruising and hot boxing are like the two most common weekend activities. Just because some cops are asshole doesn't mean all of them are or that even most of them are.

That's how conspiracies start... I think it would be kind of hard to cover this shit up. I think someone somewhere might notice the dead guy and all these missing cameras. It was probably more along the lines of they realized that a man had just been shot by a cop and video evidence is pretty nifty in court cases. Also, anyone else a bit concerned that this footage is even out? I'm pretty sure video footage of crimes that's been released before trial cannot be used as evidence in court.

You should come to my hometown (Sunnyvale, CA). We're not that small of a city, but I know most of the cops around here, and the way it works is that the cops are also the firefighters (they'll pull double shifts - one as each). A lot of my neighbors are cops, and they are by no means douches. These people definitely do save lives.

It's my understanding that he was the passenger of a high speed chase. If people are running there is a good chance they have a reason to not get caught and will fight to get away. There's no way I'd pull someone over, have them run, then catch them and not have my gun out till they are in complete control in the back of a squad car. They fact that they are both pissed off at one another doesn't help the situation, the guy has no reason to mouth off at the cop, not justifying the cops actions in any way, just saying if the guy had any sense he wouldn't be talking shit to a person standing over him with a gun drawn and trained on him.

Sadly if this even goes to court the trial probably the officer will get out of it without losing his job because they don't won't a huge deal made of it. This isn't the first (obviously) this has happened but I do recall once watching an episode of cops when a white officer pulled over a black man in a routine stop and it was all going fine then the officer called in for back up while he beat the shit outta him with his buton, that officer was caught on tape, it went to trial and nothing happened to the officer
