    Maps not downloading properly

    Hey everyone,

Just found the server today but I've been getting extremely frustrated; the server itself does not seem to be downloading all the maps properly. For example cs_crackhouse_go_d downloads fine but maps like: cs_museum, cs_italy_tactik2_v3, de_westwood_v2, de_seaside would not download at all. DE_Reef wasn't working until I continually tried reconnecting and finally the download went through. My console log:

I did try to go directly to the fasdl.com link and manually download the bz2 files and used winzip to try and manually install them into my maps folder. This did not work for me as winzip told me that the file sizes were unknown and kept telling me that the files were corrupt. Even manually renaming the files would just cause my loading screen to fail. Looking at the file sizes you could see they weren't unpacking correctly.

Not sure if maybe someone else has copies of the working .bsps that I can grab so at least I can play in the meantime but I'm also pretty sure I'm not the only one facing this issue.

@Tookie|KarmaKing Quick solution would be take the file that you downloaded from fastdl and use 7zip instead of winzip (I'd suggest using it for everything ;) ). This worked for me.

I'll look into the maps not downloading on the server, see if I can replicate your issue and work on a solution.

Weird, so I usually use 7zip and for some reason it wasn't letting me open the file and then unpack it which is why I switched over to winzip. However after your post when I went back and just extracted straight to the directory without opening 7zip it worked (Right click > 7zip > extract here).

It does seem to be working now however. As for the w_missle model I think the space is why its throwing up a 404 error and not downloading properly. I could be wrong. Either way I've manually corrected it.

    Thanks Moose!
