    Exile of Wraeclast test bugs
     
    - items persist after MAP change. Also after player leaves server.
    - Some items stack causing incredible damage, such as 500 dmg backstabs
    - Drop rate at max level seems to be much lower than 75%, confirmed with test
    - Items have wrong 'classification' i.e. Leer cast mask gives bug as if it is a belt.
    - A few items seem to have bugged props such as rainbow boots granting physical dmg resistance.

     

     

    The backstab thing is weird when I tested it with you. After you left, I right clicked people in front and it did 87 damage, which sounds about right with the +50% right click dmg, but for some reason, when I left click people, I kill them with two left clicks.

     

    When you activate the physical dmg reduction flask and the speed flask, in chat, it will display "Granite Flask: you now have 30% dmg reduction" and "Granite Flask: You now have 50% speed"

     

    The drop chance is definitely much lower than what it says.


  2. Trickster assassin sucks so much and does not perform that well generally. I'm personally fine with it being able to see people behind it's own barrels, right now, that race needs every advantage it can get. It's not even that hard of a race to kill.

    70% isn't as good but the accuracy is pretty ridiculous.

     

    I agree it needs buffs tho. Will be buffing.

    I also wish that the invisibility was based on how far you are from the enemy, kind of like Kil Jaedan, and basically at a certain maxed distance, it would cap at 80%. This encourages the long range, passive play style that an auto-sniper was meant for and it gets rid of that terrible lag you get with the images on the counter.

     

    Silenced Scar and 80% attack speed would be nice as well.


  4. I was just curious and I know probly none of the ENG's have time for this but could we get a server wide raceinfo update. There are a lot of new and old races who's raceinfo on skills has literally no meaning or bearing on the skill itself. Also I believe the whole "I'm not gonna tell you figure it out" motif is a bit out dated in a game where knowing your skills is kind of a key factor in playing the race effectively or at all in some cases. Just a thought feel free to flame or add to the thread per the norm.

     

    You probably haven't noticed this but the ENGies have been doing this for a lot of races, new and old. Obviously there might be a few that are outdated and some are probably a pain in the ass to change, but generally I think raceinfo descriptions are not as bad as you' think they might be.

    Praise baby jesus. I thought you knew about this bug since I told you the day we tried to see the darkness of Hat of Radiance.

     

     

     

    Also normally Corpse Bomber can't damage ultimate immune races, but last night Hornycat and I ran into a weird thing where I killed him as an ulti-immune race and he still killed me doing 2 hits of (what seemed like) explosive damage. We tested again and couldn't replicate what happened. I don't know much about how Corpse Bomber is coded so maybe this is intended?

     

    You were Bob. From my understanding, this could either be because Bob might have a percent chance to spawn with ultimate immunity ( I may be completely wrong, for all I know, bob may have 100% chance to spawn with ult immunity) or some other race might have given me some type of buff or something, idk.

  7. Putting all the joking aside with bullet hating p90's and stuff, we really do need a p90 race, maybe not Selene but something else. I don't see why we have all types of gun races except p90 races. If you cannot learn how to combat a p90 user, you deserve to remain a silver 1 till the next csgo.

  9. I imagine there may be people who try to teamstack with this reward incorporated, but I'm sure Hornycat will be the only person with the balls to step in and save the teams from this 10/10 auto-team balancer. If not we could come up with more ideas of course.

    This exp reward idea is a great idea that I fully support and I'm on board with. Another thing that I want to add is that it should work exactly like valve does their money economy in this game. Your first win should reward you with 125 xp, your second consecutive round win should give 250 xp, and finally your third consecutive win gives 500xp, every consecutive win after the third will only reward 500xp. Losing a round will cause your teams xp progress to reset.

     

    I really like that you mentioned the reasoning behind this was to have another competing source of XP besides buying tomes. Whereas tomes reward a player for time played, this route rewards players for effort and skill put in. Instantaneously, the value of the shopmenu goes up and is no longer a heavy money sink.

Why not do what I suggest ohh I dunno 2-3 years ago and implement a real money store for wcs to where you can buy levels and "premium accounts"  and let the premium races be in the regular rotation/event for like a week just to tease the population into buying premium status. The races don't even have to be stronger or super unique the pure fact of not having access to them creates enough impulse and drive to purchase premium status. Give premium status small bonus like extra money at round start, extra shopmenu slot,reserved server slot(lol).  Look at JT's server he payed his wife's college fund and raised a kid on his premium accounts. 

     

     

    P.S. I hate this model it's why I actually stopped playing on Joinwcs.(ya I still call it that)

     

    This isn't the war3 CEG server. What works there might not work here and vice-versa.

     

    I also don't think any of us are trying to pay our wife's college fund and raise a kid with funds from a war3server. Doesn't this situation sound similar to something that happened to sG/UV about 5 years ago?


  11. I don't know how I feel about this. Anything that even slightly resembles pay-2-play is a huge turn off. I strongly believe that one of the most attractive features to newcomers and to our regulars is that you don't have to pay anything to enjoy the full-experience of our server. If we do decide to do some type of pay model for war3, let it be only for cosmetic things.


  12. I really don't think that's the purpose of the level bank even though thorgot said that in the other thread. I look at level bank levels as a bunch of rare candies that you use when the struggle gets real. You are not going to use a rare candy on a lvl 20 magikarp, you are gonna use it for that mewtwo that's at lvl 98, right?

     

    I would ask an engineer since you are new and all and took the time to make a thread about it.

    Usually, the only way to get levelbank levels back is to participate in war3server events that takes place once every 3-4 months. Handing out levels like that just doesn't happen unless something goes terribly wrong with the server or you lost your levels.

     

    I always tell new regulars to save those levels till you get to the last 10 levels of nature wisp or last 50 levels of csgo pro. There is absolutely no point in using them in the first 2000 levels.
