  1. Little stuff like "Planting the bomb 5 times in one map gives you $8000, but puts an $8000 bounty on your head" would work wonderfully on the server if that's what you are talking about.

    The east coast, the brackets are saying 9 PM PDT and 10 PM PDT.  I would not mind it if it was pushed back by an hour for both. As it stands, i'll basically be going till 2:30 in the morning playing cs.

    • Ult slow nerfed from 60% to 40%, duration nerfed from 3.0 to 2.5, cooldown increased from 25 to 30.
    • Armor damage absorption increased by ~35% of previous value
    • Bash chance increase by ~20% of previous value
    • Invis increased from 55% to 60%

     

    You made one of my favorite races even better

     

     

     

    RUTHLESS MERCENARY

    • The grenades used to deal 25 damage to anyone in a certain radius. Now, distance is calculated to see how far the player is from the "special grenades" that spawn. If you are right on top of them, you can take up to 75 damage. In my play-testing it seemed like the average was still around 20-30 damage so no real change, just more realistic and less frustrating if you are really far away (or directly between 2 nades and you take 50 dmg even tho you are quite far from each nade).

    You mean that god awful shithole of race called "Jaden is brutal"? I wouldn't be surprised if that race after a month hovers around .70 kdr.


  6. so your argument is that someone who is new to the server will have issues with human marine, really? of all stupid as fuck races you picked this one?

     

    you're not worried about someone new to the mod/server coming in and seeing people flying around the map, being 100% invisible, having evasion rates that will make you quit, having players play knife only with some gimmicky shit (1000hp, evasion, invis, making clones of yourself, etc). you're worried about a race with reduced damage, life steal, and infinite ammo. 

     

    of all races eddy, i thought you would have gone with something that is actually shit to play against as a new player

    I think eddy's criticism is unfounded. I want to say that 95% of new players don't even care about marine, but rather races like trickster assassin, lurker, or kil jaedan, I should know, I play on the server every day, people are always asking about these races.

     

    I want to see a chat log of somebody below level 1000 saying "human marine is annoying and destroys the war3 experience for me" or anything similar to that effect in the past 24 hours. I will eat my shit if you can.

    why is this even a thread?

     

    this race is not as good as some of you are making it out to be. the only time the race is viable is when there is small corridors you can camp and constantly spray (maps like office are a good starting point). if you try and play this race in literally any other situation it gets shit on. 

     

    stop trying to push the idiot holding mouse1 running around corners, wait for him and shoot him in the mouf. you do more damage than him, his lifesteal can't outheal your spray. 

     

    people make the excuse of "you can counter it" all the time, why not this one? play a race with evasion, play a race with a bash, play a race with anything to stop him from moving so the person playing human marine gets focused.

     

    Well according to camelfun, KDR means absoultely nothing.

     

     

    I like centran's idea the best. Bring back gnat to balance the OP races Kappa


  8. Less attack speed would actually be a buff to the race in my opinion.

     

    I'm going with reduce move speed for now, even though I know in the long run, the overheat one makes the most sense and we get rid of the blood coming out of my ears problem

     

    But honestly, this race doesn't need to be changed, it's not even that good.

    As much as I love these two faggots, I don't think their opinions are worth their weight when it comes to war3. Eddy get's parkinsons every time a marine appears in the room with stimpak activated.


  9. As someone who has probably played brewmaster the most and understands it more than others, here is my honest opinion.

    • The cleanse ability at 8 second cooldown is what I rely on the most. Essentially the stagger damage ticks so slow, that if you are hit for 180 and have to wait about 6 seconds, you will probably make it and be able to cleanse about 60 dmg. Either change the cleanse cooldown to 25 seconds and make it 100% of damage cleansed -no point in calling it a cleanse when it doesn't even get rid of all damage- or increase the DOT effect of stagger to twice the current rate.
    • Touch of death is fine and ,contrary to what everyone thinks, is not a one hit KO. Many people on the other end of this skill are going to complain about it, that's normal. The viewcone for this skill is extremely small and we like to flip our shit when we get killed by it but forget that it took the dude 12 tries to even land a hit with it. An alternative I would have preferred was a 45 damage version with double the viewcone of what it currently is and an extra 5 second cooldown.
    • I don't believe it's possible, but this race from the start should have received the wizard of the everlasting treatment and began with an initial slow on the race. Any tagging done by guns is neglected. I don't know how doable that would be, maybe speeding up the player when they are hit, but it was my first thought when I maxed this race because everybody knows this shit is a fucking tank.

     

     

    Brewmaster needs a nerf again, or just an outright restructuring.

     

    It's ult isn't melee range, it's quite far "It's accuracy is quite terrible as well, you have to be dead-on for a hit and if you miss, then there is the cooldown"

    The bonus damage proc goes through walls onto other teammates "I believe it's suppose to do that"

    Stagger and ult is fine I suppose, but stagger is passive and a 8 second cooldown on the full removal of damage? Ridiculous. "It's not full removal of damage"

     

    As an Infected we were testing versus brewmaster, it was able to pistol me to death as I was right click hitting, that's absurd. "Welcome to war3, where there are races that can kill zombies"


    • The biggest apparent problem on TTTGo right now is the scoreboard and dead members. I can never tell if it's 1v1 or 3v2, people who are dead show up as alive on the scoreboard. It's a complete mess right now. I use the simple counter, so at the top of my screen, it doesn't show avatars, just the number of players on each team, and even that's incorrect.

    • Losing Karma for killing someone after a round ends, pls get rid of this

    • The inventory and shop menu are clunky. I haven't checked yet, but if you haven't made the option to buy c4 or radar through chat like in war3, allow us to do so. Something like /buy c4 or /buy radar

    • Please for the love of god, let us have detectives as soon as 5 people join. I've been on with 6-7 people and no detectives

    • Some commands are not working as intended, mainly some sourcemod commands.

  11. I've got a great idea, since Face wants to make server 2 into the Hardcore server, you can only play on server 2 if you have a total of 4000 levels on server 1. Best idea NA. It also kind of makes sense since it'll be a 16 slot server.


  12. A quake knife race that shoots out straight rockets dealing 25 damage on direct hit and 15 splash damage. Direct hits bash for 1.5 seconds and splash dmg slows. It has speed and gravity like kil jaedan but 1.1 times greater. On ultimate press, The next rocket split up into three Rockets dealing 50 damage each.

    Basically a cocaine pyromaniac kil jaedan
