Like watching movies? Got a flat screen TV with HDMI? Plug that baby in the wall, plug the HDMI cable in it, install Linux and XBMC, set up an FTP on your desktop (or store movies on there/an external hard drive) and plug in a keyboard. Instant HTPC.

If you're honestly interested in that, I can help you out. I love my HTPC. (That thing should be able to run 1080p movies with absolutely no problem. Hell, my netbook can do 1080p over HDMI and it's a fucking netbook.)

Bah, i don't use my laptop for watching movies. I can just use my PS3 or Xbox 360.

If you think yours is in good shape and you can wipe everything and flash the mobo, etc. then you can probably get anywhere up to $600 (that's what I'm seeing some others go for if they're in good/like-new condition), any more than that is probably ambitious unless you've kept the thing in BN condition...also, don't forget to take the thing apart and clean it

Okay, so im trying to sell my current "Gaming" Laptop (http://www.asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=un3hitoonkMSfRsX) but it's a 2008 model so it has some old stuff. Im just wondering if it's worth anything and what should i do with it. Im pretty sure i can't scrap it because my father won't let me. (Only 16 Bros)
