    Well.. Well....Well.....

     

    I shall introduce myself shall I ?

     

    My names Adam, I was on the servers as a jailbreak admin, to what I can remember, about three years ago.

    I've recently, gotten back into games & bumped into "Shadow" a few days ago, he asked me to come by and say hi again.

     

    I have no idea how big sG has gotten, I don't know how. But wow, I am amazed at the effort and time you guys have put into the server since I was gone.

     

     

    In short, to those who know me/remember me ;

     

    I left about three years ago after my fiance at the time left me, I went into 4RAR infantry unit with the Australian army, and within a few days was sent out to Afghanistan, having a few ups and downs and life changing moments, I was sent back with a half functional leg. Upon returning, I found out the kid I was expected, would be a big issue in my life, whilst injured.

     

    I promised to come back, however I never did based on the fact that I had to cope with supporting the baby(Cynthia) and supporting my leg, plus trying to work for money to live somewhere.
    After a year and a half, I was back to doing things normally. I got sent back out in 2012, and came home in early 2013, with no injuries, but  once again, things happened that changed me for the worst.
    Mid 2013 - 2014 I was suffering heavily from Post traumatic stress, which meant I could not work & I could not support Cynthia, who is all grown up now !.

     

    However, recently my meds have come back to a lower dosage, and I'm hitting the final stretch. 
    I think I could give sG another go, or at least the Jailbreak again.

    But, no promises, at the moment my life is up and down, at any moment in time I could have a "Episode" and head back down hill.

     

    But anyways, even though this is introductions, If I don't make it back, I want to congratulate sG for the massive improvement in the last 3 years to their Community, Forums and servers. And I wish you all the best.

    Wow, it's been a while since I've been online, but anyways.

    I've been looking for a desktop pc that would be able to play games like GTA and newer games that have come out without a problem, maybe at high graphics, but if thats more than 1000$ or 70$ Per month then I don't think I can afford it.

    I already have a good screen for the desktop, it's a pretty big one to, since I grabbed it off my mate for free I'm happy , I've just had troubles figuring out which I should buy/rent.

    I've found this, but I'm not to smart about computers, if someone would help me out with this I would really appreciate it.

    This is like on every channel I switch to, its rather amazing how after all these years they finally got him, at last there is some relief for those who were affected by his actions, even though I'm not from the US, there is hundreds of people cheering right now in Australia. But I guess that what some tv channels are saying may be true ? Retaliation towards his death ? Time will tell.

    I'm just curios about the laws around the world and hoping that anyone who has any idea of any of the following questions help me out and leave a few answers/comments towards this thread.

    So I'm in University now and currently I've got myself in a messed up situation.

    I've got a 8000 word essay to write about the different laws and different sentencing for each crime in different country's, I'll explain this more simpler, basically just say you live where I am at the moment(Australia), for a simple Robbery In Company charge or Robbery Charge without any assault in the actual crime, you can get probably a slap on the wrist, couple fines or maybe if you have a extensive record the maximum sentencing for a suspect that has had 3+ charges on his record is about 6 months maximum, if the suspect has more than 1+ Charge of the SAME crime ( In Australia robbery/armed robbery is classified as the same crime ) he could face up to 8 years imprisonment.

    However, for a Robbery In Company charge that includes assaulting the victim or any sort of violence involved, instead of getting separate charges you are still charged for robbery in company, BUT the catch is that I've noticed is that with any violence the sentence can go UP TO 21 years imprisonment, does not matter if you have no criminal record or not.

    ( The examples are not about juveniles but about adults 18+ )

    So basically, I'm gonna hope that the community will be serious about this topic and explain their thoughts on the subject of their countries laws, basically all I want to know is what you think about your countries laws and what is the maximum sentence for robbery in company, with or without violence in it.

    O/T for a second, the reason I was given this essay is because about 2 years ago I got arrested for Robbery, which later got put up to Robbery In Company, my trial is still going on ( Yes I know its been ages ), but I am expecting it to end within the next 3 months with a sentence. Since I do have a extensive record, I may be facing up to 8 years inside, but it does not bother me. However, considering all my past crimes have been about smaller things like drugs etc etc when I was 14 years old( I'm 21 now long time ago ) the laws still go against me getting a smaller sentencing.

    Anyways, read this bit.

    I only have one request from the community, be nice with honest answers, I don't mind if you actually have to troll anything I do or say in this thread, I take nothing personally, but I am not here for trolls, I am here for straight forward answers from people in this community who want to have their say in this topic.

    And yes, I know its very long, but I've been really interested in finding out what the community thinks of their laws and punishments of various crimes in different countries.

    What suprised me was that the school suspended both of them for 21 days and they claim that it was unacceptable and he should've let the kid continue hitting him. It was self defense and they claim he was in the wrong, I mean really? What if someone comes up to you and tries to rob you in the street? Is it wrong to fight back and protect yourself?

    That's Australia for you.

    Back when I was in year 8 in high school, I think it was back in 04, I got attacked by 3 students back at my old school, one hit me, I hit him back, one chased me, I eventually turned around and had about a 20 second fight with him and then one came out of no where and king hit me. I was in hospital for 4 days.

    You know the outcome of that situation? All 3 students that hit me got 14 days suspension. I got transfered to a good behavior school and charged for assault which eventually charges got dropped because of the lack of evidence that I was the bully starting the trouble.

    I don't know what it's like in the US with fights and stuff, but in Australia, even if you jab someone to the face ones while in any sort of education system you face up to 31 days suspension or being completely expelled from the place your at.

    However, O/T the kid looks like his started to hang out with the wrong crowd at school, thinks that its fun to bully people. I personally don't believe his story against the other kid, but... look at him. It might be true that he got bullied before, like I said.. just look at him.. but the fat kid starting shit with him first is really.. F'd up if it was true.

    Watching the news, they say there's the possibility of a nuclear meltdown similar to Chernobyl as the cooling system has been damaged in one of the nuclear plants.

    They are saying there is two of them now.

    And people from a 6 mile zone has been evacuated.

    Hope this wouldn't get any worse..

    This is probably the worst thing that could happen.

    I highly doubt though that the countries said on CNN would be affected like Australia south america etc etc.

    It's really horrible how I was watching it and saw 3 cars trying to outrun the waves in a country looking road but disappeared once the water hit them.

    God help those who need it most right now, it might be hard for them now but they've recovered before and they sure as well will again.

    Just a bit curious about the story just told about a nuclear station on fire. That doesn't sound good.

    So I was on my friends computer and he found this photo on the internet, to be precise a blogging website with this girl who he thinks is " fake ".

    Well heres the story, she says shes a professional model, she says that this photo hasn't been photo shopped, however searching her name on google shows nothing on her.. not even one photo of her as a model as the agency she said was " Star models Australia "

    Anyways in no way or form is this a personal attack towards this person, my mate wanted to know what the community would think.. cause to be honest it looks very fake.

    She said the photo WAS taken at the rocks on a beach, and nothing is photoshopped.. lol.

    It seems interesting, like Grand Theft Auto IV instead of being a criminal you're a detective. From what I've heard theres some mystery solving involved, which if done correctly could be fucking awesome.

    Yeah, it will be interesting, the only thing I don't want the game to be like is " The xfiles " or whatever they used to call it. Complete waist of time in that game.

    I'm intending on buying L.A Noire but it sucks how every single game that gets released these days have " Pre order now for free DLC " which means people who cant afford to pre order early have to pay for a DLC =.=

    Well I'm back from my holiday, thought I would pop into the jB server, everytime I boot steam up it says " Connecting to steam account _____ " and stays like that for over 20 minutes, I click on it and it says not responding and closes, just need some help on getting it to work again?

    My laptop specs don't show on, can you run it or yougamers.com, when I try to see if I can run a game it comes up as " We cannot identify your computer specs "

    Not many of the newer people know me as I am not very active on the forums now day's, so I guess I'll just introduce myself to you all, since I never really done it when I first joined sG.

    My names Adam :), basically that's my real name too, minus the smiley face, I live in Australia, but was born in England, I'm 20 years old, used to serve in the Australian army, but unfortunately during my service in Afghanistan I was kicked out due to a gun shot I was unable to continue as a Australian Rifleman.

    I'm a pretty nice guy, I never troll, cause to be honest, I don't know how.

    My recent experience was in the Jailbreak server, played for a couple of months but then had a break up with my fiancée which led to me deciding to leave the community to seek a future in Afghanistan as a Australian Rifleman.

    I started of as a no body in sG, no one really liked me, the only few friends I made was Marine who I played garrys mod with every single day, cause we was bored. after a while I bought admin, not many people liked me buying admin ( shadow, yes I remember ) haha, but eventually I got the respect from many of the jailbreak players as a responsible admin.

    Now the reason I have been away from the forums a lot is because I am now a dad, well I've been a dad for the last 3 months now, it's not easy trust me, it's a very tiering task looking after a kid, by yourself.

    I'm sure that eventually when Cynthia gets older I will be back in the community, more active than ever, I will most likely post pone buying admin again untill I am fully sure I know all the rules.. again.

    Well guy's, thats my 2 cent life story, hope you didn't like it and lots of troll replies are made, jokes.
