68 years ago on this day, the Allied Forces consisting of mainly American, British, and Canadian troops hit the shores of Normandy, marking the largest amphibious invasion in mankind's history. This also marked the beginning of the end to the era of Axis rule over Europe. Let's make sure to remember those who died that day, and those who fought bravely on both sides, as the majority of Germans only fought for fear of their own lives. Remember June 6th, 1944.

If you don't know what Planetside is, please check out this stream from Totalbiscuit. Essentially it is a persistant MMOFPS with thousands of players on each continent fighting over territory. There are three factions to choose from each with unique properties. Infantry, ground, and air vehicles just like in Battlefield 3, with a futuristic spin.
Definitely check this one out. It's moving into Closed Beta very soon and will be free to play with microtransactions for mainly cosmetic purchases. This will NOT be a pay to win game
Edit: I should probably add that all vehicles and classes including the MAX suit are fully customizable to your liking. For example you could outfit your tank to be anti infantry, anti vehicle, or even anti air. The MAX is a walking tank essentially dual wielding weapons. These weapons range from chain guns, flack cannons, rockets, and even flame throwers.
