You did not to partake. Instead you guys used that time to wipe someones base(who agreed to the event fully knowing it would end in a huge shootout and thought everyone would enjoy it on all sides) off the face of the map and force them to quit rust for this map cycle. Don't pretend it was anything else as these repeated actions have proved otherwise.

     

     

    I sincerely hope you and everyone in your group keeps these sadistic behaviors only in online games and you do not expose it to those around you in real life.

    I should seek professional help because I griefed something online? Really? Okay.

     

    Yeah, it's a huge crime what we did, right? But when someone OFFLINE raids someone at like 2 or 3 AM then that's cool, right?

     

    FYI, I didn't grief anything. I told the people that were griefing it to stop, but they didn't listen.

     

    Yeah. Let me carry these "sadistic behaviors" offline. Let me just go up to my local campus and vandalize everything on sight because if I grief online in Rust, then there's a possibility I'll grief something IRL.

    He has to have the highest FPS possible! You can get mad headshots yo! Rumor has it that you may even be able to shoot through rocks.

    The key here is, that you also need to be lagging. (or just pay 13.99)

    I spent some time over the past couple days tweaking the loot tables on our server. As we are a 3x gather server, it only makes sense to make sure the loot is better to keep up with materials being easier to farm. This brings a better balance to raiding vs building with the component system. 

     

    I have finally reached a configuration that I believe brings components to the accessibility level of our gathered materials on the server. 

     

    Currently, the loot is separated into two "spawn type" loot tables. These types are barrels and crates.

     

    Barrels can currently spawn any of these items: 

     

    Food: 

    Apples, Black Raspberries, Blueberries, Cans of Beans, Cans of Tuna,  Candy-canes,  Chocolate Bars,  Cooked Chicken, Cooked Bear meat, Cooked Fish, Cooked Pork, Cooked Wolf meat, Granola Bars, Minnows, Small Trout,  Small Water Bottles 

     

    Components: 

    CCTV Cameras, Gears, Metal Blades, Metal Pipes, Propane Tanks, Rifle Bodies, Road Signs, Rope, Semi Auto Body, Sewing Kits, Sheet Metal, SMG Bodies, Metal Springs, Targeting Computers, Tarps, Tech Trash

     

    Attire: 

    Boonie Hats, Baseball Caps, Hazmat Suits, Bandannas 

     

    Misc:

    Anti-rad Pills, Cameras,  Crude Oil,  Angry Jack-o-lanterns, Happy Jack-o-lanterns, Pookie Bears, Large Banner Hanging, Ornate Hanging Sign, Portrait Picture Frame,  Tall Picture Frame,  XL Picture Frame,  XXL Picture Frame,  Large Pole Banner,  Double Signpost, Single Signpost, Town Signpost, Two-Sided Town Signpost

    When I was hitting crates and barrels yesterday I was getting individual hazmat pieces (glove,helmet,etc) rather than the entire suit. Was that also fixed?

    I was thinking maybe if not that many important or game changing updates come out this Thursday then maybe is it possible for the server to revert back to the update before components was added? As of recent, the servers has gotten stale as there is less raiding even on a 3x server. It takes way too long to farm up pipes and tech trash this wipe. This will also give some of the new players to try out the old rust before components and give them more of a chance to join in on the raids (pls no offline, thanks).

    Karma mentioned that she wouldn't want to do that as FacePunch pushes out updates on a regular basis and that's why I suggested to do this if

    1) No Major updates/balance changes are made

    2) large majority of the people that vote are in favor of this change for one wipe and one wipe only

    3)if it's even possible

    Can someone make a poll of it as I am on mobile?

    Quick to call hacks? Marvin went through the proper channels and the complaint was given a LOT of time to be sure the outcome was right. When I resolved the issue after finding that the video did not prove hacks, I never figured you'd be upset because I feel like you were given the benefit of the doubt as the complaint was examined. Anyways Ollie, idk what your issue is exactly, but maybe you should consider all of the facts before getting so upset and lashing out at someone who followed the procedure in posting a legit complaint-- no matter the outcome. 

    I'm not upset. I'm more bewildered as why you guys would even consider it being hacks when you guys had numerous amounts of instances through the video that lag was the more plausible reason.

    Exactly. And yes, I am the one selecting admins. Why? Because I am the staff for the server and we aren't setup for Clamps or Bulldog to put someone in place. So, why wouldn't I? As far as your group getting admin after being as toxic as you are on a daily basis, including mocking the person who posted a complaint against you by changing your name to "Ollie shoots through rocks"   -- Just lol. My choices were 2 non-toxic players who won't be afraid to call anyone out on their bullshit, including myself. 

    It was a very stupid complaint granted that I was lagging throughout the night with me disconnected due to high ping. Even before the sketchy shot you can CLEARLY see my player model rubber band due to lag, but instead of thinking it was lag, y'all immediately thought "oh man he must be using this really weird and unheard of hack that I saw in this rust video on YouTube". You can clearly see me lag when I keep rubber banding and at one point I was stuck in the air for a couple seconds. Did it occur to you that LAG was a more likely possibility? So of course I'm going to mock someone that didn't use their common sense. Instead, yall were quick to call out hacks on me.

    She asked me about a week or two ago and I told her I wasn't going to be playing again for another couple of months.  Pretty sure she knows I disagree with her from time to time.  Then again, I think your team is immature as fuck.

    We kicked out the younger audience from our base so now there are two toxic teams! Also, I made a Staff PM and was told by Karma that SHE will be looking for Admins that aren't toxic. Which was also a jab at our group and also saying none of us will get admin. I like how in their complain that they didn't mention the fact that I was lagging the fuck out to the point where I got kicked numerous times for high ping. Thank god I didn't get banned without me knowing lmao

    I rather them be on rust then CS:GO or the dumb robot game they play so as that said they only log on when im on and they really dont come out the base so they really don't see nakes unless they killed each other and they understand it not real! They like playing computer games with me so I picked a role playing pvp so what! they are having fun and get to learn how to cut a tree if they need to!

    Why don't you just have then play mine craft if ask you're going to allow them to do is cut trees

It's not really a rule but more of a, "you would be wise to do this" type of thing or eddy will become enraged and fly to your house to beat you. OR just tell karma to mute your dumb ass but that really isn't any different then any of our other servers now is it? 

     

    The "rule" is really advice since eddy "put itching powered on karma's muting finger"(so to speak.)  But you rebellious young'ins are like, "No no. It's a rule. Because if it's a rule then there is a well defined line that we can get right up to the edge of and maybe if feeling ballsy try to tip toe across and back before anyone notices. We like breaking rules and seeing if we can get away with it. So this must be a rule so we can have more fun!"

    It's a demented type of fun and I hope you only pull this crap online because someone is going to send you to the hospital one day if you act out like this in the real world. 

    Wait, what? How could I follow a rule in where I didn't even know existed?! It's a rule if we got muted for it. Everyone in TeamSpeak heard my confusion of why I got muted when I simply spoke to Karma. You make it seem like we spend every single waking second of the day trying. If we get PUNISHED FOR a suggestion Eddy made then it's practically a rule. At this point, there isn't a point explaining anything to you. You're pretty much on Karma's side and are too caught up on her to realize that she was in the wrong on numerous occasions and I'll own up to it and say me and my group were in the wrong in some occasions. We get punished from it, but staff shouldn't be exempted from the same rules they enforce on us. Last time I'll respond to anything of this matter unless it's in TMS or after Eddy resolves the thread

    Actually, Ollie was in the teamspeak. 

    I'd like to clarify on the whole Ollie wasn't here. I was AFK at the time of Eddy establishing the rule. That, or I wasn't even online and then joined AFTER her made the rule. I then got off of TeamSpeak for a minute or so to plug my phone in to use as a mic. No one in my group even mentioned the rule after it was stated until I was muted

    Excellent example, you did a good job of not taking the bait...  but I updated with orange for the other guy.  Looks like it escalated beyond what was needed and no one told Real Tisms to just drop it, rather than continuing to dig in at Jiffy.  @Jiffy was pretty good about not getting into an argument, and asked repeatedly for Real Tisms not to speak to him.  Why wasn't Tisms told to stop pressing the issue?

     

    This is part of why they have an issue -- if one of them was escalating something, they would have been shut down.  You did a good job of staying out of it, but you should have shut the argument down as soon as Tisms started to focus on Jiffy, or after Jiffy told him to leave him alone.
