  1. Fun Facts: 1. Louisville doesn't play a single team ranked in the top 39 of the preseason coaches poll 1. Iowa plays more of the preseason top 25 in November than Alabama plays all season

Preseason polls are bullshit. There shouldn't be any polls until at least week 5 or 6. Essentially, Alabama has an easy road to the NC because they have a weak schedule. Same with Louisville.

  2. If you really want a GS3, buy a used one off contract and sell your blackberry.

    http://swappa.com/

That site is your friend. Safer than eBay (IMEI must be good and no broken phones are allowed), and less fees (Swappa only charges $10 for a sold phone to the seller). Free of charge to list your phone. They range anywhere from New-Mint-Good-Fair

Now is a great time to buy a GS3 because the market is flooded with them which means low prices for you. I just bought a mint one for Verizon with box and all, and a case, for $320 (I paid a bit more for Black)

  3. Spell is perpetuating the spamming of sexually explicit hentai to members on teamspeak without a NSFW tag. Spell gave the picture to multiple members in his channel to spam to others. FPS_Trucka, Hoawrd, and me were innocent bystanders. We are asking for the revocation of his teamspeak channel, as he is not deemed fit or mature for one. Thank you.

  4. I've only seen one episode and though it was just OK. I'm planning on giving it another try this winter.

Psych is way funnier IMO. This last season was just perfect. Made the show more serious with more of a plot while still having moments of hilarity.

Haha damn man you are spot on except for the part where you were wrong, which is the entire post

You really need to watch more than one episode of any TV species, especially the wire. It starts out slow and is hard to follow since it doesn't focus on one single character, but a plethora of people.

  5. This is a huge generalization. I agree with Noobsteak that the jock mentality is pretty much gone, well for my area at least.

I was/am a jock. I played Football, Wrestling, and Rugby. I can bench press 325 pounds, squat 455, and I forget my deadlift :s. On the other hand, most people say I'm the nicest guy our school. I'm sort of a nerd. I love video games, and building computers. I have a lot of friends who don't play any sports.

    Come at me bro.

  6. Before I start, don't tell me to get a PC. I already have one as my main gaming rig, and I want something different as a laptop.

I'm looking to get either the base model 13" Macbook Pro or the base model 13" Macbook Air. I am stuck between a rock and a hard place. I keep swaying from one to another. This will mainly be used as a secondary to my main rig. I will browse the internet, check email, listen to music, maybe play a game or two. I will take it to college with me. So far these are the pros and cons I have conjured up from each:

    Macbook Pro:

    +

    Upgrade-able

    Faster Processor

    Longer Battery Life

    More ports/CD Drive

    -

    Heavier

    Lower resolution screen (1280x800)

    No SSD

End of Cycle (expected to have new model in 2012)

    Macbook Air:

    +

    Very Light and Thin

    SSD

    High Resolution Screen (1440x900)

    Just Renewed

    -

    Slightly Less Battery Life

    No CD Drive

    Less Powerful Processor

My biggest worries with the MBP is the lower resolution screen, no SSD, and that it's at the end of its cycle. Some people expect a brand new model to be introduced in early 2012. My worries with the Air are that its not as powerful, and not upgrade-able.

So after this, what would you guys choose?

  7. After reading this thread I've come to the conclusion a great deal of you are retarded.

Of course its going to have a small community, it hasn't been "officially" released to the public, and it's still very new. When Facebook first came out there was almost no one on it. Now everyone is, including our parents.

I feel like facebook is turning into the new myspace. At the moment its still ok, but they have butchered the chat.

I really like the idea of circles. I can put family in one, friends in another, and almost never let my family see what I do. For those that say social networking is stupid, its not. Sure I talk to most of my friends in person, but its a good way to keep in touch with family members from far away, or friends off at college. Also, it's kind of a mini blog to your life, people can see the pictures from your vacation and everything you did.
