The name Undead Vengeance is going. There is not going to be a debate or community poll regarding this matter; dictator decision. I'm not stopping you from leaving and starting your own "Undead Vengeance" community.
I'm looking for serious name considerations. Your reply should consist of the name you propose along with the meaning of your name. It is important that your name sounds professional and represents our community as a whole. I will include an example at the bottom of this post.
If you like any of the names mentioned, please list them at the bottom of your post for consideration in the final change vote. Provide constructive criticism if necessary.
This thread is not a change slot for people to insert their two cents or any other form of currency. I will not hesitate to punish those who insist on spamming this thread. To this date I have not issued a single infraction and I don't want to break that with this thread.
Coalition Gaming
"a union into one body or mass; fusion."
We're comprised of different ethnic groups, varying ages, and genders. The point I'm trying to make is that every member is different. I would say this name suits us more than well; a group of gamers forming a single community.
I understand that "Gaming" is a very generic term. I'm sure someone can suggest a replacement adjective.
I'm also fond of "Synergy" and "Syndicate".

Cease and Desist would suit an eight man scrim team; not a community of two hundred.
-
As long it doesn't sound like some sort of emo vampire club and has a serious "young adult" type of flow.
Keep it professional.

Hey guys, just FYI, P2 just stole another $150 from us.
All in favor of keeping the name =(UV)= to honor him?
-
My vote:Undead Vengeance. =(UV)=
undeadvengeance.com or joinuv.com works too.
Ok guys, Undead Vengeance is going. Period.

MAW - Men At Work.MWH - Men With Hats.
I think we should use MWH.

You see, there is a very large difference between a noun and an adjective.
When "affinity" is used as an adjective (such as in the name "Affinity Gamers or -ing"): "pertaining to persons who share the same interests". I would say that we all share a common interest in games.
-
It's more along the lines of who created and maintained the name for six years. The immaturity is just an added bonus.
-
Cool story bro, how about listening to the crowds of people who are actually in the clan who dont like the name. And why the hell do you keep bothering me, I am as much of a community member as a lot of the clan members are.You see, this is where you are wrong.
About this |-| much of you is part of this community. The remaining |-------------| is on a one way train out of here.
The train's almost ready to leave.

We've recently come up with a new plan.
I'll post more about it later.
-
Affinity Gamers/Gaming w/e is still really bad. How the hell does it even fit this community as a name?Opinion invalid.
Error returned: Foh is not a part of this community.
-
I kindly thank you for all of your suggestions. There will be another thread created later tonight to gather more information. This thread has served its purpose.
As of now, "Affinity Gamers" stands as the unofficial new community name.
-
WTFFFFFF I definitely think this needs to be a little more democratic. Does this really have to be done today? Can we take some time, get some structured discussion about it, and do a vote? I honestly do not like Affinity Gaming and would like to have some more options and the chance to vote.If you read my original post, it clearly states we have a small window to pull this off.

If doing so keeps Foh off of our servers...
+10 points for making it happen.
-
Skins aren't a necessity for jail break or WCS. I'm all for enabling pure on specific servers.
Wall hack on the other servers all you want, you're not going to gain much of an advantage.
-
"Undead Vengeance? What is that? Some emo vampire site?"You couldn't have said it better.
The name doesn't seem as awesome as it did when I was fourteen. It's sad I've been here this long. /CUTS WRISTS
-
"Affinity" pops our a bit more than "Absolute". It also represents a relationship in which we all hold; through gaming.
Person to create a professional tag containing "AG" wins it (or any other way to abbreviate).
-
I want to keep UV and Undead Vengeance. That name really popped out to me as a player. What's your age again? Point and case.
"Absolute Gaming" sounds appeasing.
-
As fun as "Undead Vengeance" was, it's time for a change. It's simply embarrassing. You think I'd wear a shirt or own a mouse pad displaying such an immature name; I think not. We have a small window open for such a change and I would like to take advantage of that.
Ideally such a name would contain the words "Gamer", "Gamers", "Gaming", "Community", or "Group" with some sort of adjective to go along with it. It would have to be easily abbreviated and make a professional looking tag. I'm sure you can see what we're looking for.
The person who comes up with the best name will receive something grand.
Out with the old and in with the new.

The tickrate has been reduced.

I remember the period when he vanished for a few months, leaving the staff to fix all the problems; he had no problem blowing off the communities money.
