  1. You really think I'm aimbotting? No offense, but I don't think you know what legit aimbot looks like if you think I have it.

    As for the skywalking: again I apologize. I got a second opinion on where I was and he said it was fine as long as I stayed on textures and couldn't see through textures.

    I can see Aimbots just fine. I'm simply saying you have some fishy shots that are questionable.

    And Don, it is illegal for any scripts.

  2. Eat a healthy diet, exercise with cardio = lose weight. Obviously this'll also depend on other factors such as metabolism, thyroid issues, etc, but overall if you do keep active and don't eat trash all the time and often then you'll burn off weight in due time.

    I think half the problem is the easily-ready fast food and other quick products which let people get a fast source of food, but at the expense of nutrition. Finding myself not eating out as much not only cause of this, but due to the rising costs of it all as is.

  3. My thought is that the lust evasion to 3-3.5ish%/level. 21-25% at max level.

    35% is super gay evasion.

    Also, we will have to wait for comments on that dmg aura. There was a problem in the past that made it really buggy where it would show up as teammates killing those who were killed by the aura.

    I don't like anything less than 30% honestly, cause it never seems to help unless you're really, really lucky. That's just my view.

    As to the aura, this race isn't going to be made ASAP, it's just an idea to throw on the table. If there is an issue with damage auras, then that'll be addressed before this gets made.

  4. In all honesty, I don't think bhopping is the problem. Looks more like an aimbot cause there are some really, really bullshit shots in there that I see. I hear plenty of steps when he jumps from this demo, so I'm not going for a ban for that. I'd rather look into the aimbot suspicion.

    I'm all for a few hours ban at least if he doesn't get perma'ed, cause that sky walking is obvious and you should know better, Walmart.

  5. I don't see this as a speedhack really for two reasons.

    1) He kinda 'teleports' lightly at the start slowly in front of people. I've seen this more as a lag thing instead of speedhackers. However, he does move faster than the others, but I attribute that to...

    2) Strafe running, which can give you a speed advantage over others and slowly move you forward past them.

    I'm going to call this as no hacks, but please keep an eye on him. I have been wrong before, but I think my reasoning for not banning him now makes enough sense, especially if you rewatch the demo.

    Resolved.

  6. General:

    * Sin, The Immoral Soul

    * Original Idea

    * Guns race.

    * Level 3500

    * No Scroll of Resurrection.

    Seven Skills, Seven Levels each

    Lust - They cannot hurt one they desire. (5% evade/level)

    Gluttony - Heartiness will slow all. (Aura, grants 2% slow/level within a 500 range to enemies.)

    Greed - Riches can lead to ruin. (Ability, 30 second cooldown. When used, steal 200 gold/level from an enemy (Rounds to 1.5k at max).

    Sloth - Laziness can kill a man. (Aura, deals 2 damage/level [Rounds to 15 at max] to enemies in an area every 10 seconds.)

    Wrath - Rage shall bury you. (+1 damage/level for 40% of your hits.)

    Envy - Jealousy destroys will. (3% chance/level on being hit to make your enemy lose 75 gold/level [Rounds to 600 when maxed] when they hit you.)

    Pride - Vanity shall haunt you. (Ultimate, respawn skill. When killed, you gain a respawn, which grants you an extra 4 health/level [Rounds to 30 when maxed], and instantly teleports you to enemy spawn. At max level, gain two respawns.)

    Debuff-ish/assassin type race.

    Notes about redo: Basically, changed a TON of figures, notably the ultimate which should not be OP now but lets the race be a bit more sneaky and unexpected. However, I'm not going to make the race be more 'well known' when it's going to happen, cause people should be watching out for a race like this, so the ult shouldn't get a global notice or some kind of FX for the respawn.

    Breakdown of skills:

    Lust/Gluttony/Sloth - Same.

    Greed - Increased cooldown since 25 seems a bit fast for a huge gold return.

    Wrath - Lowered %age of hitting.

    Envy - Greatly lowered the money removed and added in a %/level of it happening.

    Pride - Changed off the mole aspect and just made it a simple respawn to enemy spawn with extra health for simple ambushes, but without the OP'ness of going right behind someone.

    So, more comments are always appreciated. This should be a bit more in-tune to fit now.

  8. True, however Blast-Proof Vest is not a effective counter for crit nades or nade spam for that matter. I don't normally pay attention but last time I recall still being killed in one shot (+100dmg) with it on. I also only buy the thing from shopmenu only when I have nothing better to buy, mostly when I'm playing Devil's Servant.

    If you got killed by it doing +100 damage, it sounds like it works like Evade: You can dodge hits if it wouldn't kill you, but if it would, then you die.

    You forgot Crackhouse. I was just giving an example of what some people could do and I think it has happened before on Office.

    I've noticed a shift of exploding races on there nowadays. Though that is a staple for some common races to be played.

    I just like the limitations just so people play some different races, how much of the time to do you see a pair of Zombies?

    See it a few times. But partially why you don't see zombie much now too is due to the insane amount of disable on the server too.

  9. Where in my post did I say lightning chain was the problem? Yes, lightning if enough people play can kill people really fast. However, the problem is NOT that, its the fucking crit nades. Admit it, people spam nades, normally people who know the server rules don't do it themselves however if 5 separate people nade one spot, well your frankly going to die.

    Ult Immunity = no lightning spam. Blast-Proof Vest = less nade damage. Both = counters. Also, if you get hit by a nade in one area, you should back the fuck up. Chances are another is going to come. This kinda goes with my common sense theory for ZE: If people brightened up, there wouldn't be an issue. I get that lightning isn't the MAIN issue, but it's definitely a part of the "issue" that has caused a limit.

    Ultimate Immunity, derp statement.

    Can't be a derp statement, when you know it's a way to cut down a lot of the issues not only with Chain Lightning, but with OTHER ENEMY SKILLS. It's kinda amazing what one person can do to turn the tide, assuming they don't die. Hell, two people could go on something like that and it'd really mess with them. Just cause a team is being derp-ish doesn't mean a race is a problem, especially with all the counters to races in this mod.

    Anyway this is another valid point to why there should be limits on it. Why should every "veteran" player be playing the same damn race, specifically the starter races. Also this is the second bitch topic about the limitations, I basically suggested making it a limit of 3 instead of 2 so new players could play when the race whores are on it.

    I can't say I've ever really seen a LOT of people playing a lot of the same race unless it's a very obvious map, namely Human for Dolls, or Orc with Office. Even then, I've NEVER seen people really stack up a team with them and A) Do much or B) Stay on that race for long.

    I'm still leaning towards no limit for one reason: There are a LOT more races that are more annoying/powerful than the starters. If anything, you're just opening the game up to more stuff instead of a simple problem that is solved in a heartbeat with one skill/item/bit of common sense.

  10. I mean Chosen does have a valid point. WCS is really supposed to be played properly in order for it to be fair and enjoyable. Setting 16000 cash gives a much unfair advantage to many players, therefore handicapping the FUN that is supposed to come out of it.

    I get fun, but there's also the old phrase: it's not what you say, it's how you say it. That's what this complain kinda comes off as to me.

    As always, I would like to hear Chosen's side to see what he has to say, just to get his side.

  11. Blind how long have you been playing on server 1, a year now at most? It you are complaining about 7 ORcS on one team then you suck ...get better. Back to the topic at hand ORC can be countered you just have to know what you are doing.

    This is pretty much true. Get one race and you block the entire lightning for the team.

    Again, if we're testing this to try it out, that's fine, but if it's due to no one wanting to counter it... then that's not good.

  12. are you aware that aero has 46 DAYS on the server while you have about 11 hours? regardless of you being in sG 1+ year(s) more than aero, you haven't gotten even close to the "experience" that Aero has.

    Everyone can have a say on things, but at the same time, time here =/= experience. Respect all and what they play.

    I'm still curious how well this change is too. Have to go on later tonight and play a bit.

  13. General:

    * Randolph, The Elder Druid

    * Original Concept

    * Gun Race

    * Level 2000

    * No health power-ups.

    Five skills, Five levels each.

    Call of the Wild - Your senses are heightened. (Gain 4% speed and 4% less gravity/level)

    Enchant: Fire - Your weapons are encased in fire. (3%/level of setting opponent on fire for a second.)

    Blessing: Water - Sooth your allies wounds. (Ability, 20 second cooldown. Grant a short ranged AoE heal of 4 health/level to 1 ally/level.)

    Earthquake - Shatter your foe's senses. - (3% chance/level to shake your enemy. Severity increases with level.)

    Meteor Storm - Go beyond the earth and control the cosmos. (Ultimate, 35 second cooldown. When used, deal 5 damage/level do 1 enemy/level globally. CAN BE BLOCKED BY ULTIMATE IMMUNITY.)

    I really don't want to hear "oh noes chain lightning globally", guys. Note the all caps as the obvious counter for it if you're that worried.

  14. 80% blind with 90% evade and double speed seems pretty ridiculous, even for a race that does relatively nothing in terms of damage.

    It's mostly a team support, but I do kinda see the point. I lowered the blind to 4%/level.

    Maybe it should have a weak spot, like Remilia? Something like shots to the arms (wings) ignoring evade.

    Lowered overall evade. Did make sense to let it get hit more since it's more offensive, so it shouldn't have to be easier to rush around and attack with.

  15. I've noticed a very small amount of people from the large community on WCS1 actually come to the forum and post comments on here for the races, let alone vote on the polls for them, Yet after some races have been out for a while, people bitch there are no new races. I was thinking maybe admins or engineers should broadcast to people on the server when it is full a couple times a day that they are advised to come here to the forums and vote on new races, if they want to see new races.

    Just my two cents but it seems like a good way to get the point across as well as generate some more activity on the forums.

    I've told people to do so, but many don't listen. More input is always better, but it does also help if we had more coders for races. I can't possibly start and get time to learn until summer so alls I can do is suggestraces for the time.

  16. I'm kinda in between on this change.

    Pros:

    - Does stop camping to some degree.

    - Limits free damage while caming.

    - Forces players to actually play and not stand back the whole time and just spam a button.

    Cons:

    - It kinda is easy to counter as is. I've done it on office where I'll just go Akroma and you just kill off all their damage in that one room while your own orcs throw nades in.

    - It is a starter race and as such, I personally don't think it should be limited cause I find human to be more annoying than orc on many maps, and has a bit more utility with movement.

    - As stated before, Blast-Proof Vest negates a lot of damage from nades.

    I'm all for this change for now to test it out, but at the same time I think it got restricted due to bad playing, as in, players know there is a counter, but they're too stubborn to change so they CAN counter it. If this was changed due to mass whining because no one wanted to stop it with obvious counters, and not for it actually being strong and impossible to beat, then the wrong reasons are in place.
