The thing about this race is that is really IS NOT as OP as people make it out to be. It's quite easy to kill if you just run and gun it fast. Just gotta team it or point blank the bitch down.

It is true. However Wizard is pretty much a sitting duck considering it's speed reduction so if you're a fast mover you can gun him down with ease. That's it's weakness.

Or just do what I do. Throw a crit nade at it.

You already have two counters available at the start for Infected. Human and Night Elf are great starters as is and they can cripple him pretty well.

As to the entire idea of nerfing Infected, no point. One person going judge basically forces them to change. Not to mention that various counters are out there, and can also be bought in the shopmenu.

At insanely low speeds with a 95% chance of timing out on every download.

I dunno what you've been downloading, but 95% of my apps go through without a problem. Yes, some of the speeds are piss poor, but they still work.

Sounds like a counter to me. Especially with that one skill doing % damage, which coincidentally works for Infected's high health. The problem with that skill is that I'm not sure if there is a way to hard code a 'max' health level too. Rest of the race seems fine overall, but kinda looks like Orcish Horde with Circu's ultimate.

Actually, it's Valve's updates that bone the server a ton. When they first did the huge redo of CS:S, it basically boned all of WCS and made nothing work. Probably the same case, so give Yiyas some time so he and I can find what's going on.

Before that huge CSS update, this used to be true with evasion and such, but now evasion also happens before the damage is calculated (Savage can evade an AWP headshot)

I think Wizard is special with it's shield. Also I think some races work differently on some things, but it used to commonly be: overkill it's health and evade won't work. I did get shot in the face with an awp yesterday though on wizard and survived, so what I just said isn't true anymore lol.

Thing is, I really don't want to do that to punish all for the actions of a few. And I have a feeling that would cause a backlash somehow.

This is starting to get old. There is no reason any admin should be spamming cash at the end of the round or in the middle of the map like this and it's becoming common since I think players are promoting it more too. If this is going to keep up, more punishments are going to have to be put up cause there's a lot of abuse going on with it.

However for this case, it's no where near as bad as Not Going, but still looks like something that needs to be looked at. I think the admin is on the forums, so I want him to come respond.

FYI, you shoot it in the head it dies on the spot. Remember, overkill it's health and it shouldn't absorb it through the armor.

Night vision helps when you're on the team of the Drow Queen, if you're not, it doesn't help at all.

I don't think I've ever seen night vision really be helpful at all in my entire gaming on CSS.

Did a slight change with it to balance it out slightly for the time.

- Reduced range gained by each point in skill by 40%. Max range is now 320, down from 400.

- Duration maxed out dropped from 12 seconds to 9.

Sorry, but having a set health value was more challenging than sitting behind a box for 5 seconds and then acting like nothing happened.)

As to the ads, sounds like Microsoft is taking one from Apple with their iAds. Least these ads aren't half bad to deal with though and usually can be closed.
