  1. In all honesty, I dont' really like this rule cause it doesn't give you any real benefit. Throw nade, wait it out 30 second. Throw na- oh wait, you've moved on from that area.

I'm all for a change in time, cause honestly 30 seconds is a bit high, especially with how easy it is to get nades nowadays with all the races that spawn with them. I do like the 5 second idea there, Mimic. Cause it gives a little breather but at the same time doesn't let you spam it too much.

  2. Well you cant exactly "vampire" more blood than your body can handle, which is what I hate about RPG race.

Should be ok from next map on.

I did a reload of the mod and it fixed it instantly. I'm assuming something else happened after last night when I did that which broke again.

  3. Looks like a fun race to play. I am just glad you stopped suggesting knife races (I hate leveling them cause I suck at em).

My only thing with the ult is if you are under 50 hp is it going to set you to 50 hp or leave you at your current hp below 50?

    ^ What Fetterolf said.

Also, what happens if you have say 40 health before you even use your ult the first time? Does it then heal you 10hp and grant bonuses? Or does it deal 50 damage and suicide you?

Good question. Basically if you have over 50 HP, you drop to 50. If you have less, you will stay at that health. I think this is easy to do, but I have to try it out.

Also, you don't stay hard capped at 50 hp. You can regain it, but your cap still stays at 125.

  4. I like it. Would be a nice challenge to level, and once maxed would actually make playing with the Famas acceptable. The blinding skill is definitely a novel idea. Perhaps this race would have more mass appeal if it came with a passive skill of 35 round mag for Famas or something so it is still fun when at a low level.

I don't want to give it too many ammo/damage benefits purely of the fact that they COULD easily ambush people by marking them. That in itself is a huge advantage if used properly, especially for a team.

  5. There are a lot of places that you can do this. I say it should be legal considering how rare it is to find someone playing Trickster Assassin well.

Okay, but even then I don't see how it'd be needing a rule.

  6. Name: Valra, Blood Huntress

    Original idea.

    Guns race, m249 only.

    Level 4500

    Restrictions: No health, BoS, LJ.

Notes: Race starts at 125 HP. HP cannot go beyond this number from any source. Cannot buy tomes and suffers a 50% exp penalty. Starts off with Kevlar/Helmet combo and comes with no knife.

Race is meant to be a 'reward' for those able to get high enough btw. Considering the level of it and me kinda wanting to put up some races to let you guys have a bit of fun with for playing so long, it may seem OP. Fair warning.

    Six skills, five levels each.

Silver Bullets - Essential to kill evil. (Deals an extra 3 damage/level for every shot landed.)

Blood Contract - Your essence is mine. (Every shot will steal 5%/level of damage as health)

Repeating Crossbow - My trusty weapon. (4% chance/level for a 200 magazine at spawn.)

Fine Aim - Steady... (Ability, 15 second cooldown. Lets you scope your weapon for 1 second/level. Think AK Sniper, just on a shorter time limit)

Blood Rage - The essence has fueled my inner demon. (Ultimate, 30 second cooldown. When used, your hp drops to 50 and your speed increases by 15%. Can stack with multiple uses. Maxes at 2 stacks.)

  7. Name: Loterem, Grand Prophet

    Original Idea

    Guns race, Famas/Knife only.

    Level 3000

    Restrictions: None.

    Five Skills, Six levels each.

Notes: Race cannot buy tomes. Runs purely off experience kills but suffers no penalty of experience.

Farsight - I can see your weakness... (Grants a 5% chance/level of doing +15 damage when enemy is hit. At max level does +20.)

Knowledge - Let those who assist me know all. (At start of round, gain a 18% chance/level [Rounds to 100% at max] to 'mark' a person for 20 seconds globally for all allies to see. The enemy will not know who has been marked specifically, but the allies will get a message.)

Blinding Vision - Strike me and never see again. (6% chance/level of blinding enemy for 8%/level [Rounds to 40% when maxed] a second every time you are struck by an attack.)

Clairvoyance - You cannot hide from me. (Ability, 35 second cooldown. When used, you can 'mark' a random person for 1.5 seconds. Maxed out lets you mark two people.)

Destiny - Fate has come. (Ultimate, passive. Grants a 4%/level [Rounds to 25% when maxed] of killing your killer if they kill you. In addition to them being killed, you respawn.]

You could think of this as an ambush/support race. I may tweak with the numbers a bit on the mark stuff.

  8. Considering you just need one person to change to an ult immune race on crackhouse to fix all your woes, I find this argument very invalid.

Besides, that item would just be gay, I'm sorry.

  9. Look, I'm sorry. If you have a high pitched voice, it's just downright annoying to listen to. Look at JB, I just insta-mute if I do go in there cause honestly, who wants to listen to a high pitched voice while playing a game? It's the equivalent of having nails screech down a chalkboard and it's not fun at all.

From what I'm seeing from this complaint, it's just someone mad that they got muted even though it is in the rules that if you have "no balls", then you shouldn't speak. It's nothing really against you personally, it's just something so that the general population doesn't feel like they're babysitting while on CSS.

Probably going to close this, but I'll hear any more words if needing to be said.

  10. The thing about these items is that it's to enhance races and for people to enjoy what they play/whore a bit more. The %'s for stuff are not as high as some race skills grant and those that could abuse them shouldn't be able to get them.

Really, the reason why these new items were added in was to add a bit more to the game and give some more money sinks for people to use. If figures need to be tweaked they shall be, but the idea behind these additions/changes were simply to give you guys a bit more to play with.

  11. You also have to take into effect all the immunity it has. I mean, if it can buy longjump and use it's ult, it basically can jump on someone and stay there. Besides the fact it'll have headshot %reduction and evade, it's kinda big.

Then again, a roots would still bone it hard, so I see your point.

I can't totally say how well it'd work until it's in play, but as it stands here in my mind I think it's kinda OP.

  12. Name: Malice, Forsaken Warrior

    Original Idea

    Knife Race

    Level 3000

Restrictions: No boots of speed or health.

Notes: Race starts with Kevlar set. Meant to be a tankish type race and thus is slow, so keep in mind how easy it would be to punish this race before we say "It's skills are OP".

    Six skills, ten levels each.

Damnation - A curse of the devil. (Grants 10 hp/level)

Scarred Armor - Armor scarred to my body. (Grants 5% damage immunity/level)

Rigid Blade - My only partner in this life. (100% chance to deal an extra 4 damage/level with a right click.)

Shadowed Helm - My veil of pain. (Grants 3%/level evade to headshots)

War Cry - Know my pain. (Ability, 20 second cooldown. When used, knocks enemies backwards within a certain range. Range increases with level, distance of knockback is same.)

Rage of the Damned - Fall into the despair I hold. (Ultimate, 30 second cooldown. Available at level 30. When used you gain a 3%/level burst of speed for ten seconds and immunity to slows/stuns. ROOTS CAN STILL AFFECT YOU. At max level you passively gain a 20% speed boost for the race.)

Expertise - Starts at level 80. Your immunities and evades are increased by 1%/level up to level 90. At level 100, your knife +damage is increased to a max of 60.)

Tenative on the expertise. Take note of the ult and what can counter it and it's natural slowness to everything. It's still very vulnerable until it gets it's ultimate.

  13. Yeah, that's your problem.

Which I stated later on if you read. The point still stands: If they used the media attention for something better, I think they'd accomplish more. Not focused on something that happens on a daily basis and doesn't deserve a 47 day trial.

  14. I heard far more about those two than I heard anything about the Casey Anthony trial.

You guys are just exaggerating A LOT.

Not really. Down here in Florida this has been the prime 24/7 coverage. Even when the natural disasters occurred there was never this much coverage of it at all on the TV. Granted it was a local issue, but come on. A murder trial on for what, 47 days? That's retarded. What makes it more retarded is cause the media hyped it so much and the lawyer for her defense was a dumbass, thus he just harbored more circus theater for this. There's a shitload more they could use that time for and be more productive with but they wanted to waste it on this dumb bitch for a case that just so happened to catch national attention cause of all the hype.

  15. I feel bad for the kid and all, but seriously. I would have expected this much media coverage over something a big bigger IMO. Shit, I think she got more air time than some terrorists that were on trial.

If the media put as much effort into covering real issues instead of one murder I wouldn't care, but this got blown up beyond belief.
