Yeah I agree, Colorado has been upgrading their towers here. We have 6 that service the Denver Metro area and they have been down to 3 now. It sucks, but as soon as it is done we will get better service
And you need to get the iPhone 3G man its so much better than 1st gen's. I love my 3G now i just hope i can get a video recorder app.
I also use my phone all the time. I do anywhere from 800-1000 text messages a day (Outgoing and incoming combined so only send 400-500 a day) And I never have a problem with it.

We have the same issue in my area here in Florida. I can't get a signal worth a damn inside some buildings, but others it's perfect, and some areas are basically a black out.

Hope they start fixing them up here as well. AT&T isn't broke, I'm sure.

Apple wasn't the problem, they have had the ability for a while now, its just AT&T wouldn't update their towers..

Any issues I've had is usually through AT&T, not Apple.

I say GG to the previous QQ bout Apple myself. No issues from them, just the service provider.

I haven't seen anything hack-wise on that server when I've been in there a few times.

Have to say though, some people are going to get some bans from disrespect if I hear the same thing I did yesterday. People in there take things a bit to seriously.

This is going to be a REALLY unpopular idea, but hear me out. So you're playing ZM and there is one guy left, he's in a spot that is impossible to get (Rafters that you have to jump to in Bumfight, ledge in 4way tunnel, any other numerous spots). There is still 4 minutes on the clock. After two minutes I start to notice something: People get pissed and start to leave because they arent having any fun and the guy refuses to die to start another round. So why dont I just slap him, blind him, or slay him? Because that would hurt his rank and he would bitch about it and I'd get slapped with admin abuse for trying to keep our server numbers up and make it so that all in the server are having fun.
Lets be honest, In ZM, ranks dont mean what they might in a WCS server or Dust 2. What is the point of ZM? Survival. Are you awarded points for surviving lengths of time, or even til the end of the round? No. Only when you kill people do you receive ranks. Do you get the 10 points that you do in game added to your rank when you kill a zombie? Nope, its still the usual amount. Is it hard to kill people as a zombie, does it take lots of skill? Nope. Just gotta knife em once. Sure, there is teamwork to be involved sometimes, but do you get added points for good teamwork? Haha, no.
So this probably wont work, and I'll probably hear a lot of dissenting votes, but I'd just like to be able to make a holdout die so we can get on with the game and not lose players who are getting bored.
If I can get a decree from the MGRs granting me the right to slap, blind, slay holdout players in the interests of the server and the fun being had by those within, I'd be cool with that too.

Also, it doesn't just apply to only one person, but even huge groups. Who wants to be the last zombie, and you see a ton of other people on a ledge that takes ten jumps to get to? Or even a group of zombies, and the last four are up top a huge box tower?

In general, it's just boring that we have quite a few maps that HAVE said high spots. It's way too many, and makes it boring.

As to the stats, yeah, get rid of them on this server until the maps with the stupidly high camp points are reduced/taken out.

Actually, I do get that we have to wait till Crothers gets back. I'm simply saying that now, ie the timeframe in the immediate future, if possible, is best.

Try not to assume TOO far ahead of yourself, please.

Edit: Also, just to point out, a few issues are happening with maps currently that probably don't have anything to do with the box itself, namely JB/ZE maps that are lagging. Apparently a issue with a few files were the problem, so if those can also be ironed out to fix things in the meantime, it's all the better.

You could say the edit = now part, too that should happen.

Sauce? I very clearly remember Junzou saying that the custom kernel was performing too well and overloading the CPU.

Whatever it is, it needs to be fixed. Now. People are starting to get irritated by it, and repopulating won't be too fun I'd say.

Fixing the unneeded drama from people bringing up things that aren't important might also help.

You would think he would have a few. I'm sure he has just as many money issues as the rest of us. I just hope that he doesn't lose intrest with us now that he has been gone for some time. I'm sure everything will get worked out. I just hope it's not too late to keep things going. With the lost admin funds the community is going to need to look for a few ways to cut costs. We need to look at all the servers and see if they are bringing in funds. If not then drop them..I.E. GG and three TF2 servers. I love the GG server it's just not bringing enough people. We need to add maps(custom) or make it stand out from other GG servers. Everyone that really wants this place to stick around needs to donate (myself included) now more then ever. I'm disapponted that we havn't heard from Coinstar or anyone adressing these issues. I know everyone has things going on. So I guess I wait it out.

True, but at the same time, we need to get issues fixed with what we have before we even think about doing more. We currently have an issue with lag on many servers, and to keep expanding without the funding, or inability to keep all the servers in check on a high scale as is now, isn't helping much.

Honestly, I say don't expand more until things get in check. If costs start to go high, get rid of the TF2 servers and cut down on some of the CSS ones, GG would probably have to be first unfortunately.

As a side question, what would also help is getting a cycle of maps in sometime... ZE is dull with the same maps again, and JB hits the same few maps over and over because half of them are glitchy/broken. We need some managers to please find some maps, or take some of the suggestions in the threads to put in, cause it's slowly getting boring at times, especially when everyone else is saying the same thing around you.

Oracion: I've had to slap people in both DR and JB because they get stuck. So that's why I don't suggest you take it out of servers, just away from certain people.

I've never had to use it on either, but I guess it does happen. If they just take the command away from the person in general, then that's fine. I think I overthought it as in taken out completely.

I think this requires an admin restriction until he comes in and gives a GOOD reason. Even then, I can see the slap command being restricted for good.

I disagree with this. It shouldn't be removed permanently, but it needs to be on CERTAIN servers to put it to use. Namely, ZM/ZE where you can get stuck constantly in things. JB doesn't need it, nor does the Bhop/GG/others.

Also, as to burning, don't get rid of it until you get slay back on the ZM/ZE servers here. Else I'll have no way to kill those that are stalling the game because they get caught in certain places, or are just dicking around.
