    Yea, I def miss the deathrun getting filled up, i just dont want to wait in there forever to get only 1-2 people else i would try to stay in the server more and just afk

    Yeah, same. DR is fun, but only if there are lots of people on. Nowadays ZE/JB/WCS is the only one getting decently filled.

    I guess I should post my side, considering I started all this.

    Anyway, I don't have much of an issue with religion. If people want to worship, that's fine, but when it gets to the point of "Gods word = law", then I start having an issue. It's just when religion starts to push on people and try to force ideals and values on others then I start to think badly of it. It's kind of the same when I see people saying that the Christian/Baptist/whatever way is the right way, as if every other religion isn't worth the time for it.

    As to religion and people, I see it more of a support for the people who worship, as if they feel comforted that someone is watching over them. Again, no issue with that. I don't see the need for it since I'm pretty well at handling my stress and other issues without wanting to resort to a deity, but if people find it helps them, more power to them.

    To the values, I never saw the bible as law. I've seen it as more of a book of morals, but not a set-in-stone rulebook to follow for life, or as events that really happened. The whole talk of not committing adultery, being a good neighbor, etc is great to follow. When it gets into stuff such as using God to say that abortion/homosexuality/believes are not correct, then IMO it degrades the meaning of the bible. Granted, I know people have beliefs, but again, times are changing and so are values. Today's society seems more focused on bringing human rights around, rather than follow the words of a book.

    So to sum up, nothing against religion, but it's something I'd prefer to stay out of. There are quite a few things that don't really interest me, but if people enjoy it for what it is, let them enjoy.

    Well, maybe not music, but I'm saying, why not have some kind of events happen that are passed through the sG community that's on steam? Might get people in on the servers some more, more often than usual.

    We just need to get some more population on in general.

    Just an idea I thought of, but after receiving so many invites from other groups I'm on in Steam, why not make events and stuff so that people can come to other servers? Such as getting some of the DJ's to play music in DR or ZM so people can come in and have some fun, or put up some contest on the servers as well? Would probably get people into the servers a lot more than they are now. We're in a state of having some servers as 'Weekend Warriors" per say, since I rarely see anyone on unless it's night or the weekend.

    Just a simple question, but I'm curious to know what drives anyone for religion. I never really got into it because it didn't appeal to me, but what makes you enjoy it?

    Also, no religion bashing. I know some people get a bit crazy in this, so just explain what you enjoy about it.

    Mmm well dust2 is the default reset map and it's crashed about 5 times past week (fixed now I believe) ... I'll ask around to find out how to increase the time in maps between replaying another map. Also in about week's time (not this weekend its borderlands weekend) I'll try to add some new maps to liven things up a little bit.

    Any chance of filtering out bad maps as well? Might fix things up a bit too.

    if there are bad admins is there a place to complain? or just post it on the complain thread?

    I'd say if you have issues with admin, CD is the place to go. What I'm suggesting to put in Mario's forum is suggestions from everyone, changes they might want, and questions that I may not be able to answer during a session.

    Mostly, a learning experience, and possibly even a way to get some ideas out from everyone about servers and how things work on them.

    You can complain about things in general I suppose, such as rules and stuff, I don't think there would be any issue with hearing about what issues you all have with things around servers, or any questions about it. Could probably pass some things on in a thread in Mario's forum for discussion.

    I asked you a simple question of "Will you be attending this admin school?" and you lashed out with me.

    A simple "yes" or "no" would of sufficed. You can at least act mature.

    Sarcasm is, as sarcasm does, my friend. I'll attend to teach if you need a yes answer.

    Can we change the map rotation cycle so the map can't be played for another 6 maps? I'm tired of playing the same maps all day long (dust, dust2, aztec, cbble, dolls, office and italy (the last two not as often so I dont mind)

    maybe also restrict rtv to 10 rounds? I hate it when we FINALLY get to a new map, then we rtv by round 2 and go to dust2.

    I'm all for these ideas. Dust is overplayed atm, and there are so many maps on there that barely get touched, and the rtv thing is cool in my eyes.

    Though, does that mean they are bad maps too? I'm really not sure.

    I understand you guys want to clear it up. For a good reason too. But sessions? That's the worst idea yet. It's a gaming clan! On the internet. That right there pretty much makes me laugh. Good luck trying to get every admin subscriber to sit down for a "session". The minute this is implemented, I'm cancelling my subscription. I can't believe sessions would even be debatable.

    Sorry for the DP btw.

    When I say a session, I'm more looking at it like a sign up class that is strongly recommended. Forcing people isn't the way to go, but trying to talk people into attending would be the preferred route to go.

    Obviously details are still in the works but I doubt very much it'll be a forced thing.

    Although it is majorly a teleport race map a lot of people still like it, hence why it gets voted for in rtv and nextmaps. If people didnt want it so much they wouldnt vote for it.

    On the flip side though, people could be voting it in to piss people off too. Seen it happen on ZE with some maps.

    And you know how one spammers are as well.

    The general point is to just clear things up, because I've seen a bit too much raging from some admins, and the warn/slay/kick has basically gone to rage/ban.

    Outside that, it's mostly a talk about rules, what-to-do's and how-to's for things. I'm not expecting it to be a long, long session, but just enough to get things cleared up for general server rules, and possibly a few things in certain servers that require a bit more explanation, such as WCS and JB.
