  1. How do you know it was valve? Someone could have gotten your credit card information countless other ways, unless you use that credit card only for games (which I highly doubt).

Cuz on the bank transaction thing it says Valve, so it has to have passed through steam atleast.

  2. I probably fucked up somewhere and I don't remember, so i deserve it. Anyways I should get back that 500$ because i have proof they weren't my purchases. Just goes to show: never store your credit card information anywhere on the internet.

  3. you should stop downloading porn

but seriously what skotti said you prob have a keylogger

do you have an antivirus program on your comp

I have kaspersky and i run malwarebytes and ccleaner every once in awhile.

  4. Even when stored in your account, they can't see the whole credit card number. You probably have a virus with a keylogger, and or someone has your account info.

Either way its your fault completely and these things can be easily prevented.

I know it is, I just have no idea why... I've always been very carefull: no hacks, no torents so I don't get how

  5. So recently I've just found out that valve (or somone pretending to be valve) has stolen about 500 dollars from my family. All this because, after buying a game, I left the credit card number stored in my account. Anyone know what the fuck happened? And is there anyway to get that 500 dollars back?

Btw, the transactions don't appear in store transactions

Edit: called the bank and everything should be just fine.

  6. In all seriousness, i haven't played too mutch dota but some easy and fun picks i've found are kunkka (low level you always wreck your lane) or razer (make epic baits with that leesh). Then again I'm kinda noobish.
