    eh, the only thing that bothers me is that it isnt random enough. When I get "locked on to" by a changeling on the other team, I end up being the first one switched every round until I leave the server. It's literally so frustrating that I will leave the server over it. 30 sec into every round bam I'm dead. Not much fun to me. I've tried the nade thing to switch me back but you get destroyed by the awaiting team so fast there isnt time. The only fun thing to me is getting on orc and holding a nade while i die to kill the enemy players all over him. Undead works "ok" in this scenario as well.

    All in all, I can think of 10 other races I would bitch about before changling...

    On the contrary. It is more challenging to be handicapped. That's what I like about CS. Everyone runs around with the same 4 or 5 guns and use the same 4 or 5 races, but I do something completely different that is less powerful in unskilled hands. However, enough skill can prevail. For example, I've been doing some decent pwning with the glock/usp lately without armor or claws.

    Well if you enjoy wearing a helmet and riding the short bus then have at it :D

    This is a lesson in self-handicapping.

    I've started doing this now, when I'm paying attention to my score. It's a pain in the ass but it lets me get by without getting spammed to hell to change my race. Honestly it sucks. I hate having to play half assed, the competition is gone, then its not fun anymore.

    I think tagging a k:d ratio to whoring is misplaced to begin with. What if you are on a dominating team, and happen to get most of the kill shots? Most of the time I have to change race, I'm playing defensively, no rushing. It sucks to be punished because someone else can't aim.

    IMO race whoring is more inline with rushing as the defending team. Playing a long jump race etc. and getting to the other teams spawn before they have a chance to leave it.

    also IMO, team stacking has a worse effect on the server than race whoring does.

    seriously, I haven't had voices enabled in months. Its so nice to be able to hear whats going on, but I'm not a people person either. If you want to talk to your friends, get on vent. That way you can ghost like so many others on UV servers.

    You know I'm guilty of it sometimes. For some reason you always join the server the only times I'm owning on a maxed race. I just left the server after my team got its face stomped in over and over. I myself am tired of getting put on trial everytime I'm doing good in the server. All my races are maxed now except for 2 or 3 knife races, which I refuse to play goku or panda anymore.

    newho, i've given it and recieved it, but cass does it every time he joins the server. he's not the only one tho, dubz, talktotrees, and several other do it too. Most of the rejoin the server really quick to take their score back to zero, making it hard to keep up with.

    The other thing, I know you were busy with killing all the T's, but when he had asked you, it could have resulted better if you replied saying that you would change your race after this round was over.

    I didnt have time to say anything other than "why did you slay me". I got asked by one admin and then slayed by another 10 seconds later. I read all the chat, there isnt much I ever miss, especially if its admin chat.

    also, there is no more to this story. I'm sure it came from people bitching over voice chat tho, tardyman was there and if you played with him you know how he is.

    I didnt omit anything from that copy-paste, you can see i was asked at the very end of the round, and slayed right at the beginning of the next.

    Now I just recently started playing again about a month ago, under the name lystic for the most part. I got accepted into the clan but I really dont have much time to be involved with the forums and whatnot, so now that I've had time to play I normally use that alias.

    I didnt have time to play in the few months before and after the holidays, but now that I have time its been rough catching up since I started late after the server reset. Well I've finally gotten up to the new and cool races, having a good time leveling them up. I just got dracula and alucard last night, and today I was finishing up alucard on aztec. Aztec goes how it normally goes, CT's rape, there's just not much you can do about it. I auto'd onto CT, and was doing pretty well. I'm not into the rushing T's on bomb maps, so I always hold back until my teammates die. Well on one round all my teammates died and I continued to rape the T's, ending up with 10 kills(trying to finish leveling alucard during all this BTW). Shortly there after This happens. Just changed my name to cookiez yesterday.

    I was asked by sneaky to change my race, which was cool with me. I was rushing to T to suicide and give one of them some XP, and I was slayed. We're talking 5- 10 seconds between the warning and slaying. This just doesnt fly with me. Its possible that I could have been warned by voice chat, but I have voice_enable 0. I should have been given a clear TEXT warning first, and given at least 1 round to change. I was also switched to T the very next round.

    I dont mind changing races if an admin asks, even though I hadnt even tho it wasnt maxed yet. It just burns me up to have some BS like this happen to you. Some may say no big deal, but it is to me. I know I'm not very forum active, but I've probably spent more time demo'ing people and catching hackers than 90% of the admins. I also will admit that after I started playing again, I dont care for switching teams to even things up. You know why? Noone does it when I'm on the losing team now.

    I really enjoy these servers, they are the only reason I still play CS anymore. After 8 or 9 years of playing, the WC mod still makes it fun. I try to have fun and bring competition to the severs, but the people that bitch about me, just wait because the higher level I get the worse its going to get for you.

    One last note, I do ALWAYS have voice turned off. I dont play cs to hear a bunch of 15 year olds play their music and spam shit into my ears. Tardyman ended it for me, surprised he is still around with his filthy mouth.

    I have a few more, but those are the best I have atm. I was tired last night and didnt want to fool with it anymore after i told vash about it. Joined today and he's still playing, so there are the demo's from last night. Its sad really, the guy is over level 1000 and noone has caught him yet. Keep in mind while watching the demo's the normal noob wallhacker things he does. Blatant prefire several times, totally stops and waits when he see's someone coming, and screws up once in the first demo looking at a T behind the box. There is a perfect prefire in the second demo, a CT is about to run into the doorway he is watching, but stops at the last second and the noob shoots anyway.

    Thought I would let you know, boon missed his vacation time. I guess the server reset had something to do with it. I keep a lot of steamids for reference, and found him today playing under the name 1337 366$. He was making several people miserable through camping/whoring and crap already. I manually made him "take a break", but wanted to let you know.

    Before I got busy with life lately, I was watching him. I'm not 100% positive, but I'm pretty sure he lans with a guy named Noob and they ghost. Obviously Boon is noob spelled backwards, and they always have the same latency. I'll throw up their steamid's if you want to check it. Most of the time they are on the same team. Noob sucks but Boon always rapes.

    I was there, his name had "nigga" in it. opiate was fair and asked him to change it several times. After he kept asking why he had to change it rather than just changing it, opiate took out the trash. I dont see the point in the complaint thread myself /shrug.

    I know how you feel. I normally fix the teams, but I spent most of the night on the phone since my wife is out of town. Almost everyone gets specced at least once from me :)
