What's the issue over one game that takes one round? There are so many worse rounds than something organized that utilizes a unique custom LR. Seems like so much drama over one frickin game sheesh

Does the skin change, wouldn't that not be too dificult? If they are killed before the timer runs out does that mean the bomb doesn't go off?

That's crazy! Portal was one of my favorite games in the last three years, it was so innovative and fun, taking puzzle games to the next level like this would be intense, it would definitely up the difficulty

My setup, not much to look at. Built the computer out of top of the line components back in 2008, thing still kicking ass (built into handle crisis) for all the games I play now. Will probably build another here in the next year once I start working and making money, want to go with a two or three monitor setup eventually. Desk has two scratches on it which led to it being 70% at a west elm outlet store, total steal. I have an American fender strat and an acoustic Taylor guitar. This is more or less my corner of the apartment I share with my girlfriend, manliest corner of the place haha

When I was in my teens I went on a poetic rampage, wrote several poems a day for months, printed booklets of them and handed them out to family members. Looking back most of them were bad, but it really helped me unload tons of crazy hormonal emotions back then. I think it's a super healthy method to release a bit, even if its never shared! Also, if your profile is correct we have the same birthday, though I'm a child of the 80s haha. Keep up the writing! I picked up guitar when I was 16, looked back at my poems couple years later and tried to turn some into songs, it actually worked for a couple

The most successful people I know are not doing something outlined by their degrees, they're doing things that they are passionate about, which drives them to push boundaries, exceed, and make breakthroughs. If you're passionate about math but feel CS is "safer", don't box yourself into a 9-5 you will not enjoy. You'll spend your adult life working, may as well enjoy it! For example, my friend has a marketing degree, but has always been huge on web development and coding, he did it throughout college and had lots of contacts, ended up working on user interface design and product development for bleacherreport.com, then yelp, and now github. Point being sure the business degree is nice but he took his own spin on it, if you're really interested in that air pollution analysis stuff (sounds cool to me!), I'd ask an advisor what kind of options there are for after graduation (EPA? FDA?), try to line up some internships before you graduate, and get some contacts and experience in the field to see if its something you could see yourself in! You'll never have as much flexibility as you do at this point in your career

The best is the fact that Russian drivers have those dash-cam videos because the insurance and fraud problems there. There are tons of videos of people 'acting' like they get hit by the car to try to extort money, and you'll see the drivers get out and point at the camera and/or hit the person hahaha

Jeez some of the maps are impossible even with good ratio and 10ct/20ts, I can't imagine almost doubling that, haha, the mic spamming would really have to stop. Plus I'm not certain there are enough people who have mics or are willing to use them and be CTs to handle that large of a server

When taking over warden you cannot say "all T's freeze" that is invalid. You must give a command sending the T's somewhere, like one step left or right and freeze, or go to kiddy pool and freeze. As for freeze as a direct command that is true, if you are having the T's follow you and then you say all T's freeze that is a direct command and doesn't need to be followed by no deets or delays. The reason it is confusing is because when you tell T's any orders before freezing they can deet and delay on those orders before finishing and freezing.

It really doesn't have to be this complicated if we just allowed new warden to say all t's freeze. I mean if they are in a game or some shit jumping around and you want them to freeze why the fuck do i have to tell them to move somewhere and then freeze. Mad stoopid.

Ah see what I meant was the first order from taking over warden cannot be "all T's freeze" if you take over warden it is valid to say "continue with previous orders" I just meant you can't tell them to freeze with no other instructions.

Is there a reason for this? I mean it's almost a pain in the ass to even get someone to take over warden as it is. We barely have a problem of people fighting over warden and the rule is pretty meh. Is it really going to hurt anything.

I think the key is that when the warden dies its often chaotic and one of the best times for terrorists to rebel and win the round. It's a cop out for a ct to simply say "all ts freeze", usually they're yelling it in almost a panic because they're not ready to be warden. Allowing that command would take any the advantage for terrorists during warden deaths
