  1. Only downside to prop hunt is the map is always the same so once you get used to where everything is it becomes easy to spot people.

    Some maps have randomized props.

Oh, that's awesome. I haven't played Prop Hunt in a good two years or so, I don't remember randomized props back then, but a lot changes with time. I'll have to boot up TF2 next time the server is active, I guess.

  2. Since you guys started up a TF2 division, I just figured I'd put up a few fun/great custom games for server ideas.

An obvious one is the zombie mode. There are a few servers for it around, basically zombies are either scouts heavies or spies and everyone else plays the other 6 classes, if you die as red you become a blu zombie.

The other one I'd suggest is WarioWare, it's a series of short games varying from some jump puzzle type stuff to "simple math trivia" to "knife everyone else while not getting knifed". It's really fast paced and a lot of fun.

TF2 rocks, hoping to see more of it!

Oh, and I thought of one more: FortWars! In FortWars, each player gets a certain amount of money which they can use to buy props to build a fortress to protect their briefcase (briefcase is a flag in TF2), then a standard capture the briefcase game ensues after the buy period.

  3. "At this point in the game I get caught by not only all 5 members of the enemy team, but one of my own team who has defected. So here I use Safeguard, and Iron Will, giving me tons of lifesteal and spell vamp. Then, I get up and go make some tea. Eventually, the enemy team realizes they are attacking me in vain, and give up. I come back to pick up the pentakill, along with a sixth kill on my teammate."

    Great fucking video.

  4. Just want to clarify that my post was sarcastic, I thought all the little extra bits would make that clear! I do find it annoying when I can't jump/crouch/flashlight whatever, I was just making fun of it because we had a map where almost every round we heard that. If someone gave the above command I'd probably laugh though. Demon is a fine warden, just poking fun because I hate it when I can't jump while waiting 45 seconds for a warden to do something

The only time I'll use no jumping crouching and flashing your flashlights is when you get 4-5 CTs on the team that just run around hurdurr shooting walls and not paying attention because "they have the guns, they have the power" and the CTs keep losing as a result. I see strictness as a balancer. Unless Wind gets a gun. There's no balancing that.

  5. for those of us who are newfags, what is secret creeper

edit: and Ivanns, sometimes race on avalanche is tragically a game where all the Ts can die

  6. I remember when I first started people were pretty negative and were very exploitative of things I would miss (detour, freeze, etc), but then people would complain when no one would warden. It was quite the paradox.

It's because the average CS:GO player is retarded

edit: It's because the average shooter player is retarded

  7. I have to agree in my own disadvantage. I've had rounds too when only one CT of 8 is warden the whole time, when he dies no one immediatly takes over. Sometimes I try but most of the time i get killed or it's a long boring round.

Last time I took over as warden the round went trough to lr. next round the warden said it sucked and stuff so that doesn't encourage me to be warden.

Everybody ever will always tell you your warden sucked, no matter who you are. You just ignore the hate, focus on mistakes, and try to improve. It's the only way to become a good warden, so don't let the assholes turn you into another mute CT who won't warden.
