I downloaded a whole album on BitTorrent,but the song files r .mp3,should i change them to .wav files?

Ok i start up counter-strike and as soon as i get in after downloading all the sounds that were on the serever,I saw that the gfx were all fucked up and there was green static running and lines running up and down my screen and then my comp freezes so i hold the power button to my laptop to turn it off and i press to again to turn it on again,all the lights go on but now my screen wont go on,the screen just stays black and it wont go on.

Its not broken -.-

Crap,cause this happend weirdly when i actually got into the servers,not when I wasnt playing a game,not when i first started up the game and not when i was downloading game files from the server.This is weird,but im keeping my cool cause im getting a gaming laptop after finals anyway,so im keeping my cool about this lolz.

Will I need to start from scratch like reinstalling windows and stuff like that? Or does it only involve switching the screen.

Yeah my comp is now oficially fried,my dad almost fixed it.We are sending it in for repairs and I will hopefully have it back in a week.I will still be able to go on my moms computer and use the forums.

Dude you got yours 2 years ago,im pretty sure they had to fix alot of things over a 2 year period of time.I dont just open up the laptop and play,I put it into a docking station,and it goes to a dual screen the size of a desktop screen.
Here is a pic,and btw everything is setup in the living room and yeah the pink laptop is my sisters,but this pic is from a few months ago and I didnt have my new keyboard and everything.Also,since its in a docking station,it doesnt use the wireless and is hooked up like a desktop,and is fast.Right I am using a Toshiba Notebook
