Rage 2

This is a few days late but Bethesda dropped the announcement and gameplay trailers for Rage 2 well ahead of E3. Rage 2 is being developed by Id Software with help from Avalanche Studios.

 

 

 

Looks like a fun time. Double jumps, an oversaturated color palette reminiscent of Fury Road, AND it's a Id Soft game? Sign me up!*

 

*Full disclosure, I've never played the original Rage.

I enjoyed the original Rage, the story ended abruptly and unsatisfying but other than that I enjoyed the combat. Good use of interesting tools to diversify the fighting, hopefully they'll carry on the good features of the original on to the sequel but we'll see.
