Ben 161 Posted June 23, 2008 so for the past week or so when i try to open up steam it says updating then it updates for a while and then says steam is currently unavailable please try again later. and i have tried it like 1000 times a day for the past week. its really starting to piss me off. Make sure your firewall didn't disconnect steam. If it does, it will continue to say "Steam is updating." Double check your firewall settings and allowed programs.
