The video is helpful. Check it out. Micro center does have an online store. Play it very smart and frugally, and upgrade that GPU, CPU, ect, as it becomes possible. It's not gonna break ground or run Dishonored 2, but for light gaming, should be decent.

a gaming PC for 300$ is pretty uh shit. unless your games are nickjr.com i suppose but even then.. that 375 pc video looks like it would be a quick dissapointment.. honestly, if you want to build a dece gaming rig, you're prob looking at 650$, can you get away with less? sure. use a skylake CPU with on board video until you can buy a 1050 (since a 1050 is less than a 950, but better)  use an old HDD until you can buy an SSD/nvme (or buy 1 used from clist or something) 

 

places to cut corners: the case, as long as your shit fits, buy the cheapest case you can find, it is literally the ONLY thing that doesnt matter (sadly, its where dumbasses also spend a lot)

places to not cut corners: memory and PSU, the PSU is the most critical component in your entire system.. cheap memory CAN be good memory, check thg

Honestly for $300, even if you already have a monitor, mouse and keyboard it's gonna be a piece of shit. You're way better off waiting until you have at least double that, more if possible.

Just wait a while, built one when you have $500+, but for 375 you can get the new consoles if you're into that.
