Delidding Skylake

Recently I de-lidded my Skylake cpu and I wish I would have taken screenshots of before temps but after delidding and cleaning the cpu package up I applied coollaboratory liquid ultra thermal compound to the die itself NOTE I did not use the abrasive scrub pad on it but simple used the provided brush to apply it to the die itself but I did use the pad on the IHS and used the that as well for my H110 water cooler. My experience with de-lidding and the temps were Idle went down ~3-5C and under-load went down ~15-20C which for me is fantastic considering the summers months above the pizza place i live at I already have my thermostat showing above 80F in my apartment
