Oculus Rift Parts

I was just curious what everyone recommended to get for my computer before buying the Oculus Rift. I have a several year old computer. While having a fairly intense computer, I know the minimum and recommended stats are fairly high for today's standards. Is there a website I can go to that will show me what I should be trying to buy? Any advice would help sooo much!

Everyone I've talked to recommended the Vive over the Rift. Here's a spec comparison.

Definitely, I love the Vive.

The Vive also has the added benefit of shipping with dedicated controllers made for VR vs. an Xbox controller, and you know, not sending all your shit to Facebook.
