All I have to say is this:

How do you think the land is cleared to farm the vegetables and greens that Vegans eat? The surrounding trees are cut down, the vegetation is torn and/or burned out, the animals that called that area their home are forced to relocate and many are killed in the process. You say that it's ethical to avoid eating meat and yet you're being ironically hypocritical in that sense.

I use to love meat too, at times, I look at a steak or roast, and just want to mow it down, it's alot of self control.

So don't think I don't miss juicy tender meat, it's a moral choice.

Would you want to be eaten by a "higher lifeform"? Would you like to be treated the way those animals are treated? Would you want to die like they do? No choice in the matter, no dignity, nothing but living to die..

Watch the video for a bit if you're interested in the subject, you might be able to see part of the side I come from. I don't judge people for eating meat, I use to, my brother eats meat and he watched that video, he has alittle more respect for some of the animals, but it's all cool.

I have a healthy respect for animals, and despise people who abuse them, or hunt for sport. However, I like to eat meat, I like using animal products, and I like my leather clothes.

Just keep em happy until you chop their heads off. That satisfies any moral obligation I feel- which I admit, ain't much.

Also, animals have no dignity.

It was funny, about a year or too ago my uncle (Sherriff) and a resource officer caught a guy that was hunting with a .30-06 (Illegal in Illinois, only shotguns, bows, and black powder), and had 36 deer carcases in his Barn, lost his boat and truck and more, then went to jail. Retard.

Also BTW, Illinois is gay because of our governer, I swear, he gives NO rights to anyone south of chicago, or not living in springfield, he listens only to the big city's. And he gives hunters shit rights.
