Mobo choices

Will be picking up a AMD FX-8350 to upgrade my super budget FX-6200, and was trying to pick a mobo for it leaning towards the ASUS Sabertooth but any input is helpful.  Currently only running a HDD will prolly also pick up and SSD with this purchase so input on that is helpful as well!

Aren't they the same socket? Can't you use your old motherboard?

Current mobo is a gigabyte angelica 2 hp so it is slightly cutrate and doesn't have alot of the bells and whistles of the newer ones.
