AntyCrix 591 Posted November 10, 2014 [soundcloud][/soundcloud] i guess i give up https://soundcloud.com/boondockbrutha/monologue Used Ableton to make the entire 30 second clip Made the piano sounding instrument myself in Ableton with literally just my sisters voice. Used a midi kit to create the drumline by scratch then applied a groove to it to make it sound slightly better than it was previously. Obviously it's not done yet but that thirty second clip took me about an hour/two.

camelFun 1435 Posted November 10, 2014 If you added some bass, tightened the pad's crossfading, mixed the drums a little differently and spiced it up you could have a good thing going here. Check out faSampleDelay—I'm pretty sure it's free and I use it all the time for sound widening as well as for drums in hip hop tracks to add a little bit of variance.http://www.forward-audio.de/sampledelay/ Ableton is really good and has some great stock drum processing plugins, so keep at it.
