Yes, it will switch you to another non-maxed race. Yes, it's against the rules to get around the whore script. Also, was said admin an SO? If not, then they really don't have to do anything. It sucks, but that's the way that sG decides to do things. I doubt any of the current war3 SO's would do that unless there is more to the story than what you're telling.
