That's a pic of them. I have never personally tried them before, but I would say it is the awkward placement of the abxy buttons. People who have played melee or brawl will also be used to playing on the gamecube controllers, so why not bring them to Wii U.

Personally I've had no problem with those controllers...

Keep in mind the only time I've actually used mine is on the rare occasion I can convince a friend to play ZombiU multiplayer with me and I have to play as the bloody human.

So 2 times in my life.
