VMware template

i posted this in advisors and then thought maybe some of you may be interested too. I set us up on the new host with VMware ESXi 5.5 and VCenter 5.5. This is me creating an updated template, which is what we use as a shell to create all of our servers. basically, you create a vm from the template and everything i already did is setup. we just need to add SSD space and whatever game goes on it and change hostname/ips. cuts down the time spent setting it up drastically.

well in the end, i turn it into a template, so 'changeme.joinsg.net' is no longer a server dont wanna cause conflicts leaving that shit up

Yeah, I saw that. I secretly hope that when someone sets up a server using that template, they forget to change the name. That'd be funny.

How repeatable is this template? Can you just copy and paste it multiple times? If so, then yeah, major time saver in the future.
