Hay0ger.Tonee 424 Posted March 24, 2014 I was wondering if it is necessary for me to improve my PC. Right now in my PC I have: Asus M5A97 Motherboard1GB AMD Radeon HD 6700 Series Graphics CardAMD FX-6100 Six-Core Processor 3.3 GHz8 Gigs of Ram64-bit Operating System And if it matters: Logitech 6700s MouseSteel Series Siberia V2 Heat Orange HeadsetStandard Dell Keyboard
Ichalvl 1752 Posted March 24, 2014 It's not about the PC, it's what you want from the PC. Playing Skyrim on max settings? Maybe not. Watching internet porn? Absolutely. Honestly we can't magically enter your brain and know how it's holding up right now. Do you want more FPS in games? Do you want a faster memory? Do you want another monitor? Without more info, I can really tell you nothing that will be in your interests. 1 Wintergreen reacted to this

I don't know if my current graphics card can handle it. Also i would like to know if an AMD Octa-Core Processor would be better then and Intel i7 for my gaming performance. Ichalvl 1752 Posted March 24, 2014 Better graphics card, I see no reason to owning 3 monitors but whatever, and you're basically set past that.

Piero 2272 Posted March 24, 2014 If you plan on changing your keyboard, get a mechanical one. Even though you can get some dirt inside it with time, they last longer and it's not that hard to remove the dirt.

Also i would like to know if an AMD Octa-Core Processor would be better then and Intel i7 for my gaming performance.. Coming from someone with an 8350 Overclocked to 4.9Ghz. I'm switching to an i7 in about 6 days. Also if it's just gaming the i7 4770k only gives like a 1% increase in preformance compared to the 4670k. NOW if you're streaming or video rendering then 4770k all the way.

Lesbian Dad 555 Posted March 24, 2014 for gaming, new graphics card. for multimedia, more memory/better memory. or just put some new fans in there
Destin 1958 Posted March 25, 2014 (edited) Also if you decide to go 3 monitors, a second card actually wouldn't fix anything you would still only have 1Gb of video memory which isn't enough for 3 monitors. If you're only going to be gaming on 1 monitor then you could get away with a 2Gb card, but if you're gunna be gaming on all 3 then you'll need something like a r9 290 or a 780 (but those are hella expensive and idk your budget soo.) to push triple 1080p. It'd be cheaper to just stick with AMD. But if you really want the extra kick I'd go with the i7. But gaming is really GPU bottled necked unless you're CSGO which is very CPU reliant. P.S. I see you live in NJ if you're near Paterson Micro-Center has great deals and .3 percent sales tax.
