fed 3 kills in the offlane with timber but as soon as the enemy supports rotated I solo killed the lifstealer. whiich kept his midgame down enough for me and my team to Kappatalize in team fights. The troll player even got a double RAMPAGE it was great. Look at the hero damage too XD.

Pretty standard offlane earth spirit game, rotated mid at 4 min night and got our storm first blood. Initiated A LOT of fights/ganks but died for it too. Look at the hero damage too XD.

 

DSR seems to recognize a players impact in the game. The lower DSR game I played I fed early and gave first blood to a DD enchantress and died to 2 invis runes the mid alch got XD. But was able to come back later and win our team some crucial team fights tearing victory from the jaws of defeat. In the earth spirit game it was me  being a non stop ganking/tower diving machine smoking and rotating to make sure every lane was won and #makingspace for our carries to farm. I was in an UNPRECEDENTED 71% kill participation and in both game I did 1/3 of our teams total hero dmg that's 65% above what the expected value is (20%).

lol you reasoning is terrible, just because they are pro players does not mean they can't be shit. There are plenty of good players out there who don't play professionally and can beat a pro team.

Why does a 1-6 sven have a 1492 dsr for this game? He had little to no impact. In fact, he was a detriment to his team by feeding the enemy. So why was he given such a high score in comparison to the previous two games?

Because the system is terrible. It's yet to be revealed how a score is calculated (obviously there is no substantial methodology behind it) besides the fact that it's calculated through a forced meta in which supports are scored poorly if they don't play as a support "should", despite carrying the rest of their team, but a carry can score highly so long as their gpm and kill count is decent.

This shits pretty obvious, Drunk, a decent player but still sub 1k pleb, is playing with his friend VX | PsyMega. Now PsyMega is the pleb potato player I associate most of SG with, a 45% win rate and most of his top played heroes haveing less than a 2.0 KDA ratio. Now PsyMega's DSR profile is not up yet but if I had to venture a guess hes probably somewhere in the 127-239 DSR range.

Now the site states:

 

"You will be able to see how well you've performed in regards to the game difficulty."

 

Drunk with a ~1k DSR plays with his down syndrome buddy PsyMega and outplays the shit out of some spuds who are also in the 127-239 DSR range. Well since the "difficulty" of that game for drunk was minimal he received a lower DSR score

Going 14/3/9 on veno and winning in 27 minutes will indicate to valves system that we might have a great dota-sama reborn to take TI4. The DSR system only notices that the "difficulty" of drunks game just got a shit ton harder for him and that his expected performance is 0/14/3, with 149 GPM. Since he participated in over 50% of his teams kills and lead his team in GPM and went 1/6/7 the DSR gods/algorithm deemed him worthy to receive a 1492 DSR for that match.

i'm flattered you guys have taken to analyze my dsr and amused to see it has risen to 1k+ but i'd just like to respond to 1 thing

the pudge in that game was my lane support. he had originally picked pudge into od but broodmother yelled at him and forced razor to last pick razor. razor was aware that he was supposed to counter od (because brood told him so,) but was not aware how. support pudge picked terrible fights, fed the offlane undying and i spent the majority of the game fucked by people who were already fed, or competing with brew for farm because he followed me everywhere.

this was not high level matchmaking play that i was somehow unfit for. it was uncarryable potato dota.
