Does anyone remember War3x mod for 1.6?

It was a smaller, less well known mod based on the original warcraft 3 mod for 1.5. Anyways, I bring this up because I personally liked the concepts in that mod a lot more than the warcraft mod for 1.6 and source and thought we could maybe port in some of their stuff for our starter races like different ultimates to choose from and innate passive abilities that you don't have to level up.

Would be cool to have stuff like death coil, healing light, windwalk, etc. as chooseable ultimates.

While that's a fun idea, AFAIK it would require a bit of work on the back end to make possible.

Making a race with 3 chooseable ultimates that do unique things is like destroying the possibility to make 3 unique races.

 

Although I like the idea I would rather have the latter

i actually do remember this, it was fun as hell. the effect on the skills for night elves glaive and stuff was kick ass, like it was too good for 1.6 and in the end kicked css's ass on that front.
