I just got it not too long ago, only complaint is battery life, but I basically knew that going in. I'd recommend getting a fan for it to sit on if one intends on playing something like BF3 or Crisis 3 on ultra settings for more than a few hours at a time.

Yeah. I play BF3 on ultra with like 50-60fps and like ~30fps with ultra on crisis 3

Consider extending your price range more, I've been deciding for a laptop for university/gameplay. I've narrowed it down to these (too much work to actually type it in, these are from Best Buy when i was there)
