Angel 5 Posted July 28, 2012 Jetta's are so complicated.. My sister had something similar. We ended up spending around 1k changing the water pump/radiator/belt/tires/ mechanics couldn't find it. It ended up being her valve or something...Sorry not much help. I'l ask her see if she remembers.
Skotti 2105 Posted July 28, 2012 Sounds like a misfire in the engine. Does it still run? Was this a one time occurrence?
Shadow 1044 Posted July 28, 2012 What code are you getting with the check engine light?
TeflonAssassin 63 Posted July 28, 2012 Check if they tightened down the motor mounts properly, a loose one would cause it.
Skotti 2105 Posted July 28, 2012 If your check engine light came on, a motor mount would not be the case. When the light comes on, it's a malfunction in parts or electrical. The computer in your car can't tell if the motor mounts are properly installed.
