Goldentongue 3616 Posted July 14, 2011 Well USMC is a part of the Dept. of Navy.. Huh, I thought they were a completely separate branch by now, but I looked it up and saw how they're still connected.Cool, learn something new every day.My grandfather and great uncle are/were Marines, and were stationed in Japan as well.Apparently a building my grandfather designed in the 50s when he was there is still there today. Also:Tell me about your 1911, if that is what I see there. I got it for free from self-defense 1911 story: guy was going to rob me in front of a Super Target.. I had a T-bar in my trunk.. took it and hit the guy. Called my friend who is a cop and he just let me have the gun. Free 1911.
