I'm going to have to call bullshit on that. There is a reason Detroit is the one and ONLY Hockeytown. Also, who cares about baseball? Americas past time? FUCK That, It's boring as fuck watching a bunch of overpayed assholes try to hit a ball, and fail at it over and over (seriously, a no hitter? you couldn't have a more uneventful game and still call it a game...)

edit: Also karma, yes...people do grow their playoff beards in support of their team (actually i believe the NHL started a fundraiser with this, and has raised a lot of money for charity) but most of the players do this. I don't exactly remember what city it started in but it's been a growing thing among players and fans.
