Okay, but the entire point of the second is the templar v. mage conflict and I don't see the point in choosing a side when one appears to be largely correct in their assumptions.

that game had no story substance really it was just good gameplay with the same fucking 5 maps used 100 times each. i loved the graphics and the combat but other than that it was a total let down, and the ending made me want to punch babies, i thought i was halfway through the damn game when it rolled credits i thought they were trolling me.

I beat the game in 2 days after it came out with 26 hours of game time, completing every single side quest. fucking jesus.

I felt like they were trying to fucking troll when they were placing the same maps over and over but when they wanted to cut off a corridor they were like. LETS PLACE THIS INCONSPICUOUS STONE SLAB IN FRONT OF THE NORMAL ENTRACNE, NEW MAP COMPLETE ITS ORIGINAL NAO.
