Warrior of Ascalon

First suggestion here we go!

.:General Info:.

Name: Warrior of Ascalon

Idea: Warrior from Guild Wars (Hopefully make a race for all the professions like the races of Warcraft!)

Weapons: Any.

Level Req: 1000

Shop Restrictions: Everything, even tomes.

.:Skills:.

Number of Skills: 8

Skill 1: (Wont even be on the menu.)

  • Name: Adrenaline
  • Type: Passive
  • Levels: 0 (A default ability)
  • Description: You gain adrenaline from hitting people, and being hit.
    • You gain one adrenaline from shooting someone.
    • You gain two adrenaline from knifing someone.
    • You gain 1/2 adrenaline from being shot/knifed.
    • Skills that require adrenaline to use, have their own separate adrenal counters.
    • Whenever an adrenal skill is triggered, loose all adrenaline on that skills adrenal counter, and all other adrenal skill counters loose one adrenaline. (Prevents abilities from being all triggered at once.)

Skill 2:

  • Name: Ripose
  • Type: Adrenal
  • Levels: 8
  • Description: Block an attack, and deal [2 x level] damage to your attacker.
    • Requires 6 adrenaline for this skill to become active.
    • It Prevents the damage from one attack, and then deals the damage to the attacker.

Skill 3:

  • Name: Enraging Charge
  • Type: Adrenal
  • Levels: 8
  • Description: For [2 x level] seconds, you move 75% faster.
    • Requires 5 adrenaline for this skill to become active.
    • Simply makes you run faster.
    • It would be cool to have your weapon fire like [2 x level]% faster, but i don't know if thats possible.

Skill 4:

  • Name: Endure Pain
  • Type: Adrenal
  • Levels: 8
  • Description: For [3 x level] seconds, you gain [15 x level] bonus health.
    • Requires 8 adrenaline for this skill to become active.
    • Adds bonus health to your current health.
    • Change max health to 100 + [15 x level], in case there are healers.
    • When the duration runs out, remove the bonus health.
    • If removing all the bonus heath would kill you, leave them simply with 1 health instead.

Skill 5:

  • Name: Mighty Blow
  • Type: Adrenal
  • Levels: 8
  • Description: Your next 3 attacks deals [3 x level] damage.
    • Requires 10 adrenaline for this skill to become active.
    • Only affects the next 3 attacks.

Skill 6:

  • Name: Watch Yourself!
  • Type: Adrenal - Shout
  • Levels: 8
  • Description: All nearby allies and yourself gain [4 x level] bonus armor.
    • Requires 4 adrenaline for this skill to become active.
    • Only affects allies within [50 x level] radius circle.
    • Can only increase armor to a maximum of 150 armor.

Skill 7:

  • Name: Sever Artery
  • Type: Adrenal
  • Levels: 8
  • Description: Your next attack causes your target to bleed for [2 x level] seconds.
    • Requires 7 adrenaline for this skill to become active.
    • Bleeding will be just like poison, causing damage over time.
    • The damage rate can be a constant like 3 damage a second.
    • Would be cool to have blood falling off of a bleeding character, but not necessary.

Skill 8:

  • Name: Hundred Blades
  • Type: Ultimate - Activated
  • Levels: 8
  • Description: For [2 x level] seconds, your attacks deal splash damage.
    • The splash damage will affect people that are [15 x level] radius circle around the target.
    • The splash damage will do [1 x level] damage to all the targets in range.
    • Can only be used once a round.
    • Can not level this ability until you are higher than level 20.

There needs to be some sort of message to notify the player when a skill becomes activated, so that they can use their time wisely.

The Adrenaline skill is not really a skill, i just used it to explain the system, so there are really only seven skills.

No, as he shoots, and get shot each skill thats adrenal, gets 1 counter, when they reach the number of counters for them to activate, then they activate. The player does nothing its all just based on him attacking, or being attacked.

Some of the more powerful ones will be harder to reach, because when one adrenal skill becomes active, all the other adrenal skills loose one counter, this can all be changed/tweaked, just seemed fun and original ^^

It only removes one point from the rest, not completely drain them, it only completely drains the skill used, so it just makes it more difficult to get to the higher ones.

The lowest one is 4, so it shouldn't make too big of a deal.
