IIRC Texas tech and UM rank #1-5 on their music school, which I plan to join.

I heard Texas Tech play music, it was fucking orgasmic.

I'd choose FAMU over those for a music program. Idk if you'd say its biased but my director was the pres. of the band and showed me a lot. Fuckers can play..

Princeton, MIT, Stanford, Alabama(Roll Tide!!!) etc. I'd be psyched to go to Syracuse or duke on a lacrosse scholarship. Currently planning on majoring in business and getting a MBA from Wharton if possible but that's still subject to change in the future.

I've never heard either play, but my fantastic highschool band director got his music masters from UM, and the most inspiring musician I have ever met is Gary Green, the director of bands at the UM, whom I was lucky enough to play under at an honor band. I've heard Texas Tech is wonderful too, but I'm pretty sure you can't go wrong with Miami. Green may be retiring in the near future though.

UM has a good program, my mind is set towards FAMU if you're going for music though. My most inspiring musician would have to be Chandler Wilson from FAM, musical genius for just being a young director. It wasn't directed towards me, but I play trombone and practically every other brass instrument and Sax. What about you?

Applying to graduate school next year for Clinical Psych PhD programs; top 5 choices are (in no particular order) the University of Minnesota, University of Michigan, University of Illinois @ Urbana-Champaign, University of Wisconsin @ Eau Claire and the University of Hawai'i @ Manoa, each for different reasons.

Inb4 Chuck Norris comes in and makes me feel stupid for majoring in Psychology again.
