Anyone know how to write a script that with make you start recording when you die and stop when you spawn?

The idea is basically to help record hackers discretely. I can auto spec someone but sometimes I have missed the evidence by the time I get a demo recording. Obviously it would need to name the demo and toggle on and off so I don't end up with 2000 demos all named demo after playing for a few days.

Also anyone know of a way to bind record and a script that would automatically name it with the time? It would be really easy to get some great game footage if you could just press a button to record and stop.

You can already demo somebody and not have to spec them. I believe you just type "demo *name*" and you start recording a demo. That's what Theffoh told me at least..

I do believe Øpiate is correct, and having a script like that would come in handy, I wouldn't have to switch to spectators all the time
