sinasdf 0 Posted March 30, 2010 i never tried garrys modI never quite enjoyed making things from scratch but there are a lot of interesting servings in GMOD.There are a bunch of role playing servers, though I never quite got interested in them. There was also a server where you could watch videos in a theatre setting. Users would upload links from youtube and redtube and it would show up on the screen in queue. One moment you'd be watching mudkips while the next scene would show gay porn. Clay 24 Posted March 30, 2010 Oh jeez. I did this in my ag-tech class. I showed everyone how to link together via LAN, (They knew nothing) and we had a huge 32 person halo battle.Sophomore year I brought in 1.6 and we would have 12 person lans going at least 2 periods a day. That's pretty impressive considering the class we were operating out of was usually around 20 people, and no one from other classes could connect to our LAN server. ctark 1983 Posted March 30, 2010 My school, we got nice new comps, so we all got CS1.6 and during lunch we had 2 full classrooms playing together. What was surprising was the server could handle it, but they were new computers, and we used one that was meant for maya and intense rendering, so that helped
