Renjizzle 34 Posted March 20, 2010 renegade, it's not about being able to play to your full potential, it's about playing the best you can with what you got...just sayin 30 rounds is more likely to get both teams a "full potential" round or two 30 Rounds make the most sense, and from what ive read, everyone requested MR15 / 30 Round matches, So i dont know why they went with MR7 15 round matches. The low rounds make it impossible to have a good money system. If you start at mp_startmoney 800, whoever wins the first round is pretty much guaranteed the next 2, like in most matches, and depending CT or T, usually the 4 as well. This is fine in MR15, but in MR 7, that leaves only 3 buy rounds for the other team, assuming they win after their initial buy, if not, that leaves only 2 legit buy rounds. The ONLY reason the CGS went with MR9 and 16,000k start money, was because it was for TV. They didnt have the timeslotting for MR15, and people at home who dont play/understand CS dont want to watch a bunch of save rounds.
Mitch 2111 Posted March 20, 2010 We're keeping it 800 cash at start if we decide to do 30 rounds. At this time, we're considering making that teams can choose whether their matches are 15 rounds or 30 (15 rounds would start with, maybe 2500$ cash or something like that), and if it's 30, scores will be recorded regularly, if it's 15, the Rounds Won and K-D score will be doubled. Just a idea up in the air.

Just a idea up in the air.Keep in mind that if we do allow you to choose between 15 rounds and 30 rounds, 30 rounds is the default option, therefore if both teams can not agree to the number of rounds, the match will be assigned with 30 rounds. This goes the same for maps. Currently, we are coming up with a list of maps that are as fair as possible. We don't want a team to solely win because of map advantages. That does not mean you shouldn't use a map advantage. Use all the resources in a map. DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO WIN (aside from using third party programs)! The default map has not been decided, but it will most likely be de_dust2.
Psycho 0 Posted March 21, 2010 What are the rosters representing? Are they the order we compete in, or is it just an organization table?
Ernieeee 0 Posted March 21, 2010 What are the rosters representing? Are they the order we compete in, or is it just an organization table? The Roster is the divisions. The divisions are not finalized due to the floods of new teams lately, but there will be 4 different divisions. You must play against all the teams in your division at least once. The finalist and semi-finalist of each division will face the others for first place -- thus you will go against 7 more teams for first place.

Ernieeee 0 Posted March 24, 2010 Question. When will it be known when this starts and when the games will be?I work nights; second shift, and I would like to be able to schedule work around my matches. XDYou may not have heard but Oracion have discussed this with Mitch one night. The plan is that all teams must be made before the end of month. Once the roster is completely organized and the teams are placed in their divisions, you may start scheduling matches.
