Jared and I constantly get the shitty $20-40 head sets and they just break thanks to his obnoxious mouth and my whoaring; so since the "Turtle Beach" ones seem to be quite a turn-on, I think they are next on the list.

Headphones don't break in half by themselves. Just lifting the headphones shouldn't just cause them to collapse in your hands. You obviously did something.

I bought mine for the 5.1 surround, but they're really fucking uncomfortable after a while, so I alternate between my

AK-R8's for surround sound in CS:S

and my Plantronics 770's for other games/chillin, I'd say they have better sound quality than the Turtle Beaches too...
