If you have any suggestions, comments, or requests, please post them here and I'll look them over. As of yet I don't have an ETA, I've been writing it for the past week or so while on Vacation (in the car, at night ect), so there is a LOT that still needs to be done and debugged./******************************************************************** * FEATURES * ******************************************************************** * Rules Popup on Map Load: * ******************************************************************** * Working on it. Simple rundown of the basic rules for the JB server. ******************************************************************** * Declare the Warden: * ******************************************************************** * Strictly a fun command, Players can declare themselves as * warden at the start of the round usin !warden. Doing this * sets their player-color to pink for the round. !warden is a * first come, the rest are out of luck basis =) ******************************************************************** * Anti-Mass-Free-Kill: * ******************************************************************** * If a player kills more players (defined jb_antifreekills_w) * than allowed in jb_antifreetime_w seconds, we give them the * warning defined in jb_antifree_waction. If they kill more * players (defined jb_antifreekills) than allowed in * jb_antifreetime, we slay them instantly. If a player has more * than jb_antifreecount, we automatically ban them for 1 hour. * (Fun right?) ******************************************************************** * Rebellion: * ******************************************************************** * When a T harms a CT they become a rebel for jb_rebelharmtime * seconds. When a CT is killed, the T becomes a rebel for * jb_rebelkilltime seconds, and for shits and giggles we tell * the world about it! (Stat possibility: most rebellions). A * rebel's player color is set to red. Times are not cumulative. ******************************************************************** * Last Request: * ******************************************************************** * Probably the most wanted function of this whole ordeal, this is the main * component of this plugin, and it requires a fuckton of work. Better be * happy bitches. * * LRs:Chicken Fight * Shot for Shot * Pick a Weapon * Race * Spray Comp * Duel * GunToss * TimeBomb * Custom * Kill a CT * S4S ******************************************************************** * Teleporter Mod * ******************************************************************** * A small (okay, understatement) workaround to enable the addition of * things such as Race, Shot 4 Shot, GunToss, Spray Comp, ect. * Gives JCS the ability to add/remove/edit teleporter locations * on a per map basis. That way, when a LR such as race is used, if a map * has a race or what not built in, the plugin will automatically transport you * to the respective area. ******************************************************************** * Team Management Plugin * ******************************************************************** * Integration of the existing JBTEAMS mod. Just a note, JBTEAMS is the * current team control plugin, and the CT Restrictor plugin. Jason 786 Posted July 19, 2009 It is all incredibly controlled on when each action can be done. Anti Mass free kill is disabled if the CT count is one. Well, the feature for rebels (along with everything else) is controlled by settings, so it can be enabled/disabled whenever. Oh, and Jihad mod is that bomb thing right? Those numbers are subject to change"I think we need to be able to kill as much as we need to and not set a limit to how many you can kill in 1 second or so. Because say if a terrorist PLANS an attack and 10 others decide to join, you won't be able to exterminate them all and you will lose basically automatically.My suggestion : Since, the L4 and so on people will receive admins as a gift in august I believe, maybe we can just wait until then. another thing, members like myself will always be there when and if we get admin, I guess we will be able to help with slays and such as well. But for sure, we won't catch everyone. But i guess your code is one of the best alternative although it gives us many restrictions along with it. But it'll be better for the whole. Those numbers are subject to changeThis in my opinion is a very useless and annoying mod, I will state my reasons of its fail, easy fixes, and a possible solution that will work very well if used correctly.Flaws in mod:1) Cts will be banned when Ts all rush and the CT has no choice but to spray2) Lead CT cannot kill more then 2 Ts who have lost a mini game, while hewaits 2 seconds to avoid his auto kill /ban. The remaining Ts who have lostmay get lost in crowd as they have a 2 second wait.3) It will uneven the teams greatly. People will prefer being the team less abused.Ts now have a much easier time rebelling and even greifing the CTs a lot.Easy Fix if your lazy but care:1) Add mod that turns rebelling Ts red, killing these Ts causes void toauto slay/kick/ban2) Add a timer so the Ct can see how long he has to wait before killingsafley.Solution that works: At the beginning of all rounds CTs have a quick 5 second vote to determine the lead CT, highest vote wins, tie selects random. After the vote the lead CT receives a distinguishing skin, and a new menu open only to him. This menu is easy to use and has all alive Ts names in it. The job now of the lead CT is to watch the crowd and select Ts who have lost mini games or rebelling to be marked as a rebeller turning them a different color and allowing the killing of this T without interfering with the 2 kill / 2 second count.Free killing is still exists if the wrong T is marked to be killed, but the admins can control that. If it happens to often that CT I'm sure will not win the vote to be lead CT again, or removed and restricted from CT for some rounds.Giving this even a little consideration will in my opinion greatly improve the server as it is now, and even better improve the flawed systems that is about to be placed in the game, thank you. I saw "Chicken Fights" in the LR and that got me thinking or are you going make it so that if you choose chicken fighting noblock will turn off? Also could you perhaps make a voting option or the warden's choice to switch someone to T if they don't have a mic. Or could you just make a possible mic check plugin? Penthercy 5 Posted July 24, 2009 The truth is, the server is ok with free killers at the moment. maybe once or twice a day I will see mass free kill, that person is banned or leaves very quickly. The majority is accidental, and a admin will slay, or they will slay themselves. This mod is going to be more of a hassle than anything else in my opinion. What if were actually punishing them?As well ima going to get insta banned from that server as well as I am notoriously one of the more stricter Ct's out there.
