O2 modem fail.....

Last Thursday nite my modem randomly died on me.....

it wouldn't turn back on no matter what i did... i even unplugged it all and hit the reset button on it to try again but no luck.....

not been home yes as only just got back from band duties but any1 know any ideas or is it just a fault you think??? If so O2 can send a new1!!!!!!

You could probably just call your ISP and tell em about it and get a new one.

Yeah that is what i tried doing but it was 11PM when it happened and i had to be up at 4AM for a band contest the next morning =(

Yeah, depending on which ISP you have, you rent the modem... theyll get ya a new one

If he's renting it from the ISP, I don't think they'd dish him out a refurb. I think they only do brand new stuff.

nah dude, it wont be new, it'll be one that somebody before him rented and returned (from internet cancellation) I was just in the time warner store yesterday and they just have a cart with unboxed modems on them and they just grab one and give it to you.

Shitty ISPs give you shitty used modems.

Good ISPs give you new ones every time.

From my experience anyway.
